Poor quality, frumpyAmandaUnfortunately these did not live up to the hype. Most disappointing is the quality. After the initial wash numerous spots on each curtain had worn away. This is not a sign of longevity. And for the price I expect more. The color is not rich or luxurious. They just looked super awkward when hung. Sadly not for me!2

Gorgeous and rich lookingEvelynI got these in dark blue and they are a lovely, deep navy. They are absolutely stunning framing my white-trimmed French doors and newly painted walls in a rich golden ochre. The drape and feel of these is so luxurious for the price. And, they act nearly like blackout curtains, so they block the glare on my TV from the sun, and you can't see inside from outside at night. I will say the hem at the bottom is thin, but I let my drapes pool onto the floor so you can't see it. I don't think these look like Travelodge drapes at all (like I believe one reviewer said) but I also know how to hang even the most inexpensive drapes to make them look classier. I have an oiled bronze colored drapery pole, hung just underneath my crown molding, with 8 ft ceilings. I have 6 of these panels in 55x98 and bought the coordinating slip-in drapery hooks from IKEA. I use oiled bronze colored rings to match the rod. I think this hanging method is a much cleaner look than using the back tabs. Fabulous!!5

The quality has gone way down from when I purchased at least 12 pairs of Sanela Velvet Curtains 10 yrs ago ( house had 22 windows) back when the quality was excellent, the velvet plush and thick, beautiful drape, they were the best curtains I've owned.
This new pair is thin, lets in more light than before, the velvet was rubbed off in multiple spots from the shipping. Also rubs off when tieing them back.
The color is true to online and they are easy to hang. These 2 points are the only reason they are getting a 2 star rating. Would NOT recommend or buy ever again.2

They work a bit too well.AngelaI have a 9' window in the bedroom that faces east. When the sun rises earlier in the day it was very hard to stay asleep.
I warned my husband about darkening curtains, but he didn't listen. We've had them up for a couple of weeks now, and he's overslept every day since! Of course you can see the light around the edges of the windows because of our double curtain rod sticking out a bit , but it's dark enough to not worry about being blinded by the sun at 6am every day.
We wait until we step into the bathroom for that.5
Love Ikea's 100% cotton velvet drapes "Sanela"NorahIkea's "sanela" are the best velvet curtains on the market. I've bought them many times for all kinds of places/events. I've heard interior designers say this is a 'best kept secret' bc the price is half of what you'd pay anywhere else and the quality is there.5
Beautiful. Please bring 118" in all new colorsSharonThe Sanela curtains are our favorite. We have them in different colors because the 118 inch length works for our home. We were thrilled to see the dark brown color only to see it recently discontinued without being offered in the 118 inch length which we use in our home. Now we see the new white Sanela curtains but they are also not offered in the 118 inch length. Please offer the newer colors in 118 in length as well. It was dissapointing to not be able to purchase the brown color that you discontinued as it is to not be able to purchase the new white color.5

We opted for the track that we can screw onto the ceiling so it’s truly a ceiling to floor curtain and although we had issues with using two small of screws and the weight of the curtains, pulling the track off, the longer screws work great and these curtains are gorgeous. We have the gold ones as well and love them equally.5
Love the colorSofiaI would love to see more colors in this type of fabric, velvet like with more vibrant deep colors definitely would buy… I would love if I could choose the double bekrafta curtain Rod in brass they sell it in other countries but no in California.5
BeautifulTiffanyI have these curtains, or at least the old version, in another room and in another color. So I knew that I would love these. Helps block the sun and keep my bedroom cool. Beautiful color. I do have a cat and his hair does stick to them. But that's a me problem vs a curtain problem.5
