Grayer than photos RebeccaMy daughter was excited because the photos looked more peacock, these are more grayish spruce (she says 2.5⭐️). I was hoping that the weight of the velvet was a little thicker. Moral: trust the description (grey-turquoise) over the photos.3
They shirked seriously !!! WeiThe first time washed them after a few months. shirked seriously !!! useless!!1
Beautiful!RosauraI’m in love with these curtains. They look luxurious. I’m getting more.5
Luxurious cotton velvetAnonymousI previously purchased these curtains a few years ago, when they still had the metal eyelets at the top. I much prefert the heading tape, as it lets less light in, and pulling the curtains across is quieter. The fabric isn't quite as thick now as it was on the original curtains, but it's still very good quality for the price. I would purchase these again - I have probably purchased about a dozen pairs over the years.5
Pink is WAY off. Quality WAY off.ChristinaIkea is worse than Temu now. Cheap junk. I've purchased these prior to stage homes (real estate) and they used to be so pretty. They were always complimented. Now, they are thin and look like a Terry cloth towel, not velvet. The stitching is abysmal. The pink is NO longer the muted, soft pink and doesn't match the pictures AT ALL. Now, the color is Barbie, bubblegum pink that you'd maybe put in a child's room. Ikea should be embarrassed.1
Thrilled!JillI am so thrilled to hang these curtains in my house! They look so lush and elegant. I’m using navy in the living room and the teal in the master bedroom. Any wrinkles from packaging are coming out with steam.5
BeautifulDawnI bought these for my kitchen eating area but I have Sanela Curtains all over my home. I'm a fan needless to say. I love the price, the extra long length, the colors, the cotton velvet. I wish however that they were still available with the Large Grommets rather than the multi-function pleat/gather/tape they now all come in. They no longer fall in neat folds but bulky fat gathers. They no longer lay against my windows. When open, they take up too much space on the sides encroaching on the view & light. All of my window rods are large wood ones which barely fit through the threaded backs. Lastly, in the long length, hanging high & from large wood rods, they are very difficult to open & close. So, just my opinion, I would love a return to the Grommet Sanela Curtains! 4
Great drapes for a great priceBrianReally nice, sturdy fabric. Great light-blocking, for when you want your room nice and dark. For the price, these drapes are a really great value.5
Totally great blackout drapesPatriciaJust wish I had gotten them sooner. I love the look and the color. Has me thinking about doing some more windows with this.5
STUDIO CURTAINSEvanI bought these curtains in the dark blue. They are beautiful. they block out a lot of light and give a nice studio feel. They are great for video recording as they block out sound. Paired with the Vidga track and they work great. I will be buying more for my other rooms.5
Sanela Drapes BeautifulJenniferThese are far more beautiful in person than the photos indicate. The color is vibrant and bring such a nice pop of color to the room.5
Disappointing KimThe curtains are a beautiful color, but the quality is lacking. They are thin and the velvet is only on one side. I'm also disappointed with the length. I always purchase the 84" length curtains for my bedroom windows. For some reason these particular curtains seem to fall shorter than the usual ones I've purchased. Disappointing!! Ikea used to be one of my favorite stores. I still own items purchased years ago from Ikea. The quality of the merchandise has gone down!2
Soft cozy with a hint of luxury. VeronicaI received what appears to be the same in length but they are not the actual 98 inches and one was uneven. Overall, the quality is nice. 4
changed manufacturerKristii used to love this product and purchased several pairs in longer lengths both in navy and blush pink. seems that the 84" length is not made by the same manufacturer. the fabric is cheaper, less plush and the color is not the same as the original sanela products. it was disappointing.
(my review is based on recent purchases of the sanela 84" only. i can not speak for the longer lengths as mine are several years old)3
Beautiful colorChandraThe color is really a very pretty shade of pale, slightly dusty pink. They feel good. They look great in the room they were purchased for. Hang well & look nice.
I wish IKEA was still making the dusty green. I chose these because the dusty green seemed to be discontinued or out of stock. I’m still happy with this choice. 5
Sanela curtains are the bestGraceI love these curtains and have them in white from several years ago and more recently in the navy (sad that you are discontinuing the navy). I used both white and navy Sanela curtains from my house to stage a house for rent. The new tenant asked that everything else be removed from the house, except for the Sanela curtains. She loved them too! I agreed because it gives me an excuse to just buy more.
I highly recommend these - not just for looks, but because they keep the house warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. The dark ones are also great for keeping a bedroom dark when you want to sleep in. I've machine washed and dried these many times and they always come out great.5
PLEASE BRING BACK DARK GREENAnonymous reviewerthese new colours are so ugly.1
