Buy the Storklinta insteadJosephI bought one of these and it was fine, except that it was very light, the sliders for the drawer were plastic, and it smelled very strongly of pine sap. You also had to finish/stain it, which was just a lot of work.
By comparison, the Storklinta was several times the weight, better finished, had metal hardware, and incredibly well designed and put together. One felt like desperation college dorm on no budget and the other was finished and a ready to go piece for a proper home.
Absolutely worth the extra money to get the Storklinta instead of this flimsy thing.1
Disappointing JessicaWe’ve had these for less than 1 year. They have plastic slides for the drawer and just about every one has broken and we can non longer slide the drawers in or out. Not only are the slides cheap plastic. Some of the drawers were too narrow to fit into the slides so the just fall down. 1

Very difficult to build from poor designBridgetWhen the screws go into the wood, it is so easy to chew up the wood so that the screws no longer fit in properly. Also, the depth of the wooden dowel holes are sometimes too shallow, so that the dowel will not even stay in. I don't think it is because I am poor at building, as I have been able to complete many Ikea builds before. Can't even return this product because I cannot bring it into the store myself, and shipping it back costs basically 2/3 the cost of buying this in the first place. Genuinely please save your time and money on something else.1
Just ok KMy partner did not take long building this dresser -quite simple to put together actually. I like that you can get creative and easily paint it to your liking. Its on the small sider and does not have much room for storage. I'd use this for a kids/ art room but not an everyday dresser. Also, the drawers do not pull out smoothly either. 3

Disappointed with wood appearance ShannonThe dresser arrived on time and was mostly as expected. We were disappointed with one of the outside pieces that was finger-jointed in multiple places. If we were painting the piece it would not matter, but we are staining this because we like a natural wood look, and it will not look as nice as we had hoped. 3

It fell apart the first week...DaisyI understand this is a cheap dresser, but not that cheap. The metal nuggets that holds the screw and the front of the drawer kept breaking. I broke 8 of those and I had to nail the drawers together but after one week it already fell apart. Ikea if you read these reviews just upgrade you little silver nuggets to not break. 1

Good Dresser, Good Quality, Simple AssemblyAbeyI've purchased this dresser because I need something functional and on a budget. This dresser met more than my expectations of it! If you're patient with assembling furniture, you will get this dresser right. Nice and firm, drawers slide in and out easily. I'm not sure what all the negative reviews are about, but I wouldn't listen to them if you're confident in furniture assembly. The instructions are simple I had no issue assembling the dresser. I love it! The pine smells great! I was considering painting it, but I'll leave it with its natural look! So, over all it's a good dresser for the price! I wouldn't pay much attention to the negative reviews because I can't relate to them. I more than happy with my dresser for a budget friendly price and adds character to any room!5

Hardest thing I’ve ever assembled RachealI’ve never had so many issues trying to assemble a product. None of the holes are drilled big enough or at all to put the screws and rods. I already stained it so I cannot return it. I’m so mad!!!!!1
Perfect for my bedroom ToynaI was looking for a new dresser for my bedroom and came to the Ikea website to see what they have to offer at an affordable price. I saw that I was able to paint the unit to a color of my liking. Easy to assemble and lightweight. I used a black wood stain to have it match my bedroom it came out beautifully. The price point was affordable. 5

We follow the instructions but one came bad RasheenI bought two drawers from IKEA. A 1 came out very good but the other one the drawer can’t shut properly and we followed instruction very well. Some areas where I was supposed to screw there was no hole so I had to nail it together but the next one came on farewell and we filed instruction very well as we did the first one1
