Good mid-range couch, assembly requires elbow greaseIANAs title says, good for a mid-range couch. The assembly requires installing the fabric over the frame and cushions. That part took most of the assembly time, and my fingertips paid the price of gripping the fabric and scratching against velcro. It makes sense, as the fabric is variable. This is part of Ikea's manufacturing strategy, where the base mechanical portion of the couch can be produced to match expected demand for all colors and the fabrics can be adjusted by customer preference. For potential buyers, be prepared to wrestle to the finish. The cushions also don't quite lay right, but that's in part due me not perfectly aligning them in their fabric sleeves, so it pays to go back over and straighten the fit. Overall, good couch for the price with an inoffensive look. The cushioning is comfortable to sit on. The texture of the fabric weave is kind of rough, so that's the only real complain comfortwise. It's Ikea, so the required assembly is expected, but ouch, my fingertips were raw by the end.4
Looks nice.Nicole B.I needed a couch for a room that doesn't get much use. This was more than I planned to spend, but there was a sale on the sofa with the chaise so I went with it over a loveseat of a different line. Look & Feel: It was very nice to sit on in the store... Not so much freshly assembled. The upholstery needs to be stretched, but I put it on going it would stretch out on its own. The cushions are a little mishaped because of it, and the fabric around the ottoman does not wrap around the top corners well. It feels hard on your back - not sure why the store cushions were so much better. I plan on adding pillows, anyways, but I will probably need to change the seat& back cushions at some point, too. It's the perfect height for my legs and knees, though. Assembly was a little tricky for one person, but doable. Ratcheting the lever for the back bar was super annoying. Make sure your screws aren't too tight along the other bars. I'd assemble one side at a time if I had to do it again.4

Cheap, poorly made, and uncomfortableCharrisaI wish I read the reviews before buying. This couch looks stylish and is affordable but those are the only positives. There’s no support beam in the middle, just tightly pulled fabric which will give & sag over time (within one month for me and I’m 5’10” 140 lbs). The fabric is very scratchy and not comfortable at all. The cushions are super thin. Feels slightly more comfortable than sitting on a cardboard box covered with burlap. I knew immediately it had to go back. It cost me over $100 to rent a truck to return it. If you cannot return easily, skip this one.1
Average sofaDennis H.I didn't have problems putting this together alone, it can be done in about an hour. My only real complaint is that the cover is not soft. The fabric is kind of rough. This sofa would be 10x better if they used a softer and more comfortable fabric. Mine is light gray, I'm not sure if the other colors use a different fabric.4

Buy it!Joseph G.I can’t believe all of the negative reviews on assembly. 2 of us had this completely together in about an hour. It’s easier than putting together a dresser. I don’t recommend the provided tool for the assembly, I used a power drill with the clutch set in about 16. This can’t be beat at a third of the cost of some online sofa sites. Fabric is canvas and durable for our doggos.5

The back is a little lower than I expected it to be, but I anticipate that as the seat cushions wear a bit that it will feel more similar to that of the floor model in the store.
