Easy storage for guest bedroom/officeDaleI wanted something not expensive and nice looking for my guest bedroom/home office. The Kallax 8 cube size was perfect as its a very small room. Love the look. Easy to assemble and getting it delivered made this project so helpful for me.
Perfect storageAnnKallax is a staple in my home; I own 3. They are sturdy, functional, and add extra storage in an attractive design. They can be used vertically and horizontally. I use DRONA storage boxes in them to organize and "hide away" clutter. I even have a cat cube where my cat enjoys taking a nap inside. Every household needs a Kallax!

love it but disappointed at the same time. SominI’ve been a big IKEA fan since I lived in Korea, so I had high expectations for the KALLAX. I love how sturdy it is, and the assembly was easy.
Unfortunately, one of the wooden panels arrived with the surface lifting/coming loose. I was really disappointed, especially because I trusted IKEA’s quality.
I live about 70 miles away and drove about an hour each way with my two young children to pick it up, so exchanging it would be very difficult for me.
I hope IKEA can help with this issue. I still love IKEA, but this was definitely disappointing.

Love it but peg fell out AngelaI love the furniture … easy to put together but the one of the peg broke after having it a month.. so
Now trying to figure out how to replace and get the peg or if I can put a different shelf in it
Poor construction, dented panelMichaelWhen we built the unit the pieces did not fit together correctly and there were gaps between the pieces when it was completed. There was also a dented panel on the outside where the thin outer layer had broken, leaving a clear seam. We reached out to IKEA about this and they didn’t help after multiple attempts.
The quality of construction is extremely poor, even considering this is made of cheap materials. Save your money and buy something built with real wood.
