Love it but peg fell out AngelaI love the furniture … easy to put together but the one of the peg broke after having it a month.. so
Now trying to figure out how to replace and get the peg or if I can put a different shelf in it
Poor construction, dented panelMichaelWhen we built the unit the pieces did not fit together correctly and there were gaps between the pieces when it was completed. There was also a dented panel on the outside where the thin outer layer had broken, leaving a clear seam. We reached out to IKEA about this and they didn’t help after multiple attempts.
The quality of construction is extremely poor, even considering this is made of cheap materials. Save your money and buy something built with real wood.
Multifunctional shelving unitElaineWe are using this to organize our home office, with wood containers for storage and sorting of bills and documents. The wood containers, also from IKEA, can stack two high in each cubby. It’s all easy to see and access.
VersatileEIt works laying it on its side as well as upright. Just wish the price was less, especially when purchasing the inserts/ dividers.

Great unitHatixhaBest cube shelf unit, I have 4 of them from ikea and I have purchased a similar cube unit from other places. But, the IKEA ones are 100 percent better than all of the other cube units out there.
Easy to put together great for my space, but...DanielI do love these, especially the range of accessories, but wish they still sold the casters for them. I have them on the the 8cube I have, they make it so easy to move to clean behind or to recover lost pet toys especially when you live alone, now if I want another unit next to the one I already have the height won't match and it'll look off to me, please Ikea bring back the wheels!

I bought it againJenniferBought the first for a toddler bookshelf (horizontal, low, sturdy). Fast forward a decade and bought another for the same kid as a teen needing more storage/extended desk surface. Easy to assemble, fair price, sturdy, and looks way better than the flimsy versions found at other box stores. My kid is NOT easy on anything, but you would never know that one is so much older than the other. Quality affordable product.
The 2x4 works better in the long runLindaI needed a 4x4 unit, but then realized it might make more sense to buy (2) 2x4 units. I can move them later if my decor changes. Another bonus of two units, I won't have to worry about a middle shelf sag. I have the vertically placed side by side.
