Extremely easy to put togetherPatriciaI'm using this to display some figurines. It's one of the easiest items from IKEA that I've ever put together, and it seems very solid for the purpose I've bought it for. Kudos to IKEA!
Versatile Classic MaureenFirst - The stand is very easy to put together. Directions are straightforward. It took me maybe five minutes to put it together and I'm not the fastest DIY assembler.
Second - I ordered two. One holds plants; the other displays pieces of pottery my kids created and which we switch out with their various masterpieces.
Third - The black color and the design are simply classic.
I only wish that we lived closer to an IKEA store.
I'm ordering a couple more.

NICE PLANT STANDDianeMy spouse put this together in ten minutes or so. My 3 plants look good on this stand & don't take up any countertop space. I think a bigger stand for bigger plants could be in the exact same style & be stable too. I know I would purchase one!
Nice look once assembled. Assembly needed extra hardware. SallyNice look once assembled. Assembly created an unlevel tallest surface no matter how many times it was reassembled. Bought a black plastic washer at the hardware store to help create a level tallest platform.
Broke while assemblingEmilyI was putting the final screw in and one of the dishes just popped right off the metal bracket it was attached to. I would simply exchange it if it weren't a 3 hour drive.

Sturdy and simple beauty AmandaI love this little plant stand. Once I found all the pieces (tucked inside one of the circles that was face down) it went together quickly and is surprisingly steadfast. Within minutes I had three 8" pots up off the floor (off of a temporary cardboard stand, anyway) and added more of these stands to my wishlist.

Defective PieceKatieAn apparent defect in the threading for one of the bars prevents a screw from tightening fully on the piece I received. Top tier is wobbly and unstable as a result but mostly still functional as long as I'm not touching or moving the stand.
