Beautiful TableMelissaI am absolutely loving this table. The size is perfect for my small family with the option to host many more. I love the natural wood, the leafs that store in the middle and the overall look. I was overwhelmed when I opened the boxes to put it together but it was extremely easy and didn't take long. You won't regret this table especially for the price.5
Large tableEricThis table is extremely heavy. It appears to be solid wood. With the extensions on, it is almost 10 feet long. With proper tools and adequate space, it took me 4 hours to assemble.
I am not a fan of the large gap down the middle. The pictures online make it feel 100% like bait and switch. Nowhere is the wide gap represented online. It is like a huge front teeth gap that you just can't help but stare at.
I added large silicone mats over the top of the table to cover the gap and prevent child mess from getting stuck in it.
I have taken the extension out of storage where I sit and folded up the side flap. I did this after scaring myself too many times. My legs would lift up the extension and or flap, and when I moved them, the wood would SLAP together making a very loud noise.
I wish we could have purchased this table without the excessive gap in the middle, and without the extensions. The sides come down too far.3
Great sturdy tableDianaIt’s perfect table in color and size5
IN LOVE with this tableKatherineAbsolutely in love with this table. Purchased it for our new home and thoroughly impressed. Was looking for a black, extendable, minimal wood grain texture table and this met all criteria. The extensions are stored in the table and are easily put on and off. Looks so much more expensive than it is. I have received multiple compliments. It's easy to clean and this was a huge draw given we have 3 small kiddos. Time will tell about durability but I am optimistic. Love it!5
Beautiful and sturdyAlexaLove this table! I was nervous about how it would look in real life especially with the split top, but it is really beautiful and solid. It’s super heavy so you definitely need two people to assemble but it didn’t take my husband too long to put it together. With a runner and black wood chairs it looks really lovely in my dining room. 5
BEWARE!! This is NOT "solid wood"!DavidMy wife and I found ourselves needing a table for 10 just 1 week before xmass. Having owned Ikea furniture, we figured we'd take a look at their products. Enter this table. in reviewing the stained version of this table I noted it claimed to be solid wood. Without thinking it would be different, we opted for the white version when we got to the store to purchase. I had 7 hours of driving, hauling and assembly into this product before I opened the last box's to find that the top, sides and even side doors are made of some kind of dense paper product. NOT SOLID WOOD AT ALL! ( Only the legs and frame are actually wood.) I feel like I was duped and overpaid for what is clearly inferior to what we thought we were purchasing. I'll give it 2 stars because we love the design and the table does seem sturdy. I doubt it survives the first bout of humid weather or any kind. I would return it except I'm just to exhausted to disassemble and haul this 190# behemoth back the 75 miles to the store. 2
Table is garbage, do not buy!!!TheresaWe were unable to complete the assembly process. Parts were damaged, pieces had been poorly manufactured, screw holes mis-drilled. This entire table was garbage!
We had barely got started on the assembly process before we had to stop due to damaged and misaligned pieces. We are returning table and chairs, not exchanging for a new table.1
Feels right!!!LauraIf you are not familiar with ikea instructions than this one could be a challenge. We are not proefficient in building Ikea items but very familiar so it wasn’t to bad. 2 people built in about 2hrs. One building and the other setting up sets so we knew where everything went. This table is HEAVY and it takes at least to people who move it & flip it cause you build everything upside down. I am 5’2” 170lbs and my spouse is 5’11 220lbs and we were able to flip it with a little effort. We recommend building it where you want it to live because again. Heavy. It’s beautiful though and we love it. We recommend.5
Sturdy table that requires someNathanSturdy table that requires some planning to maintain it's finish. Such as a fitted hard cover or clear vinyl cover. The table has not lost it's finish but unlike hardwood, this finish will require extra additional care to prevent accidental mishaps.5
Very nice table for theNancyVery nice table for the money.5
Well builtKellyannI knew this table was the one as we had a friend who had moved with it a few times, it survived her three boys, and it still held up beautifully. My husband was also impressed with how well it’s constructed. Very sturdy, heavy, accommodating to many, table. So very happy with it! I highly recommend it!5
Low Quality TopAnonymous reviewerThe size of the product is perfect for large families and the table its self is sturdy. However after only owning the table for a week and a half the paint started chipping on the top of the table.1
Great looking tableAnonymousPeople come to our place and this table is one of the first things they notice. People are surprised it’s IKEA - which isn’t a bad thing but they just think it’s from a high end store. Love it.5
Perfect tableAnonymousGreat extendable table. We leave it constantly extended to fit our big open space. It’s sturdy and well built. Love this table5
