Poor tolerancesJackTolerance for the dowels holes makes a hammer a necessity, especially if humidity is swelling the wood. One of the metal plugs wasn't fitting properly and got jammed too far in for part 100514 to fit in. Cheap bedframe so a little roughness is to be expected but this is teetering on unacceptable.2
Kids BedKendraIt totally sucked putting it together and i wish i would have read that in the reviews but the bed is pretty reliable. i bought two of the same for my preteen boys and we have slanted ceilings so this bed fits quiet perfectly.4
Great for what it isEmilyIt’s a cheap bed frame, so you really can’t expect too much of it. I’ve had it for six months and have never had problems. I have it on vinyl flooring so it moves around sometimes but that makes it easy to clean my room. I’m happy with it as this was the budget I had at the time5
Bad Quality!!SunnyThe quality is really poor — it can't support much weight, and assembling it is both time-consuming and frustrating. Once it's put together, it gives off a strong smell that lingers for a long time. On top of that, returns have to be taken back to IKEA in person, which is a hassle, especially if you only have a small car. All in all, I definitely wouldn’t recommend this product.

Worth the effort! DanielleNot as easy to put together as I expected it to be, but I love it! Sturdy, compact and the pine smells wonderful. 5
Wobbly RogerI have seen this model and laid on it and think it's pretty safe to say it's cheap trash1
DO NOT BUY IF YOU WANT A BED FOR LONGER THAN A YEARKristinaBed frame mid support beam snapped one day as son got out of bed. Do not recommend unless this is the budget you have. It is cheap for a reason. You could consider spending the same money on a better mattress and have it on the floor.1
Great functional bed frame ThomasThis frame is great, sturdy and stylish. The people saying the slats fall off, either missed a step or did something wrong. There are Woden pegs that go into the frame to hold the slats in place. No issue with mine. 5
Better than expectedJulianaOriginally bought this frame as a "temporary" frame until we found one we loved. 4 years in and turns out we LOVE it. It was super easy to build (granted I've been building IKEA furniture since I was 9) and looks simple in our home. Just to help out what other commenters have said, the mattress slats do have a way to keep from falling. Use wood dowels that come with the bed to fix them on all corners. It's in the instructions4
Very nice bedSandraInstructions not the best. Pictures not clear. Parts not labeled. 5
you get what you pay forMiaThis bed was affordable, and worked well enough as a bed Fram used for a college bedroom on a college budget. The packaging does not come with plates to place a mattress on, which needed to be purchased separately. The wooden stilts you put for your mattress are NOT stationary, they are simply just placed on top of the bottom frame posts. If you sit on the corner of the bed, they will all fall, and this happens at least twice a day for me which can get frustrating. The frame itself its a gorgeous wood color, and it works just fine, I just wish the mattress holder was able to withstand an actual mattress 2
Still smell odor after 2 monthsChongAs other reviews have mentioned, this bed frame is not easy to install. But my main complaint is this bed frame still smells after more than 2 months.
After I unpacked the box, I left all pieces in a room for a few days, hoping the smell and off-gas can go away. However, after I install it, I immediately smell the odor. And now it’s more than 2 months, I can still smell it when I step into that room.
We bought the bed for my 3-year-old, and now I feel so bad to him because my wrong decision left him in odor for more than 2 months. He has also been coughing and having stuffy nose since we got this bed.1
Possibly the Worst Bed on the MarketZoraI love Ikea and am rarely let down, but this bed is absolutely horrible. The slats that hold the bed up come out every single day. It’s become a routine at this point - wake up, fix the slats, make my bed, brush my teeth. It’s absolutely infuriating because it involves picking my mattress up every morning. If you’re looking for a bed that comes with a side of daily exercise, this is for you! If not, I’m begging you, don’t buy the bed frame. 2
Great dealSusanSuper sturdy with a low profile, simple, solid and attractive. I have slept on this bed for several years. It’s straightforward to put together, and was a bargain. 5
Great deal JosephThe negative reviews are wack. I’ve owned this for a couple months and it’s solid. No noise even with two people moving on it. Slats don’t fall. Looks nice. I did use a power drill for the screws, so maybe that’s what made the difference. For $60 shipped this was a steal. 5
It did not come with the pallets HudsonHad I known the pallets sold separately I would have bought the bed frame elsewhere cheaper that’s sold with the pallet. I had to sleep on the floor on the mattress until I was able to get a back spring for the bed frame 1
SimpleDevinLove it works for me4
Difficult to AssembleLoyisoThis bed is not easy to assemble. Most of the parts do not work. I have had different people try to help me and we have been unsuccessful. I really regret the purchase1
Good value, good qualityMatthewThis is a nice bed, it is a first bed for one of our kids. It's comfortable, simple but trendy, and low to the ground which is nice because, well kids.5
SatisfiedLorriWho would have thought something rolled up could feel comfortable.5
