Love the look of these loungers. Fantastic for small sized backyards. Planning to add extra legs to support length of the chair. Weight maximum is such the chaise cannot double as bench for extra seating without added support, which is the only reason for reduced stars. TrieshaSo excited to use these chaise loungers. And they look absolutely perfect in our small backyard. We are waiting for the cushions to be back in stock as the hard wood isn’t all that comfortable without some padding. Assembly was easier than expected with mechanical parts already being secured. Follow directions in order and they turn out solid. Our only concern is that there are only the four legs on the lounger and it seems like there should be added support for the 76 inch strip of wood. Weight maximum is 243 and we were anticipating doubling the lounger as a bench for extra seating, the perk of having no armrests on the lounger. Our fix will be to add legs for extra support. We will paint the legs so we don’t have to worry about matching the wood. This is the only reason for the four stars. Again, they look fantastic and add a touch of class to our small backyard.

PerfectSusanPerfect in our small patio area!
Low Price•High Maintenance•Short Life JeniIn April 2021, we purchased a few pieces of acacia patio furniture. The pieces that have gotten direct exposure have not held up. The pieces kept out of direct exposure have held up.
PROS: 1.) Attractive 2.) Inexpensive 3.) Wheels on loungers 4.) Good for covered outdoor spaces.
CONS: 1.) Exposed pieces require yearly maintenance w/ Ikea product, or refinishing w/ a longer lasting marine grade product. 3.) Finish on pieces exposed to the elements starts failing within 6 mo. 4.) Some pieces of exposed wood dry out & disintegrate into crumbly mulch 5.) Cannot sit in a comfortable upright position in loungers bc back does not adjust past 45°. They are lay back only. 6.) Loungers not comfortable w/o cushions. 7.) Not suitable for direct exposure.
I do not recommend any of Ikea outdoor acacia furniture to those who don't like the look of, or want to fuss w/ cushions or ugly protective covers, & whose pieces will be directly exposed to the elements. Look elsewhere.
solid, easy to assemble but overpricedMichaelI like it, will not return it but this piece is not a shining example of Swedish frugality
Seems pretty solid so far GeneWe live in central Arizona where the sun and lack of humidity will take a toll on outdoor furnishings. UV light will breakdown plastics, and also dry out wood furnishings, often in a single summer. Will see how this behaves. Easy to assemble. Quality and value for price seems good, so far.
Quality and style!MelissaThis is a great lounge chair! The quality is solid and sturdy, and it looks great!
