Was lovely until i washed it. GenevieveIf you have this blanket do not put it in a dryer. It melts these weird crunchy pieces of batting. Very disappointing. Hang dry only I guess. I returned mine. I’ve never had a dryer ruin my comforter before. This was a first.

In no way is this a Queen size comforter - much too smallJeanI was in the Orlando store and purchased what is labeled a "Full/Queen" comforter. This store is over an hour away from my home. Today I put the comforter on my bed and it barely covers the mattress. The packaging states the dimensions are 90"x92". I measured the comforter and it is only 80"x82." Either there is a manufacturer defect, or, who knows? What I do know is I called IKEA and they are arranging to have the comforter picked up, and are issuing me a full refund. Just disappointed that it did not work out. I've been looking for a new comforter for a long time. Looks like I am still looking!
Great but melted in the dryerCarterLoved this comforter but then washed it and put in the dryer and it melted parts of it and it is now unusable. I even read the tag to see if there were any directions for washing it but there were none. Very disappointed and a waste of money.

Like a dream but also a nightmare.HaleyI love this comforter. The texture is beautiful, the color is dreamy and it's like a cloud. My only issue is washing it. I got a king. Barely fits in my washing machine. The machine overflows, the comforter doesn't get entirely cleaned. Then the dryer. DO NOT PUT IT IN THE DRYER. The polyester insides melted, creating discoloration and texture on the outside where you can see and this was on medium heat and only 40 minutes in the dryer. Like I said, discomfort is really beautiful. Just a huge pain in the butt to clean. I got it thinking it was a duvet cover, not an entire.
So sad — melted during first washSorellaI bought this comforter set yesterday and was super excited to bring it home—but after the first wash and dry, parts of the polyester interior started to melt and burn (while other parts didn’t dry at all). It’s so beautiful that I chose it over the comforter I intended to buy at the store — but now I wish I had stuck with my original decision. :( Hoping they’ll offer a refund but not looking forward to the extra hour of driving back to the nearest store.

Great Comforter SetTiffanyI have had this comforter set for 7 months now, and am happy to say it's worked great. I live in the southern US, so it is a bit warm for us for the warmer months, but its super cozy and has been great throughout the colder months this winter.
I was also a little worried after seeing other reviews about issues with the washer and the comforter filling. I have washed and dried the comforter following the directions many times, and can confidently say, I've had no issues.
Overall for the past 7 months, it's been great. would recommend.
Beautiful and comfyJohnI absolutely love the color and how this comforter feels. It's bulky but not heavy. The material is comfortable against my skin. I haven't experienced the dryer issues that others have, although when I dry mine, it's so bulky that I have to take it out of the dryer every 15 minutes or so, turn it around and put it back in so it can dry evenly. Maybe that's why that's why the inside of my comforter hasn't melted? I don't know. Regardless, it's one of my favorite IKEA purchases.

I washed and dried this with the given instructions before putting it on my bed and the comforter was fine afterward.

Crunchy boiEthanCan confirm as others have complained, after washing on cool heat, not even low heat, there were little plastic bits inside the comforter. We bought before seeing reviews, and after seeing decided to try and stick it out and tumble dry it. Unfortunately it's thick enough so that tumble drying really just doesn't work (we tried like 5 full cycles).

Defective - Melted after First Wash & DrySierraWashed and dried it per the instructions, and the comforter was ruined. The blanket seems to have melted and now feels crunchy like a big sheet of plastic is inside.
