Excellent - Great product!LauraI am very pleased with my new Lidkullen stool. It is well made, very sturdy and stable. I needed a replacement for my weaving bench and this was an excellent choice. When weaving, I am constantly moving - turning side to side to throw the shuttles and reaching treadles with my feet. The Lidkullen seat swivels, tilts, and moves with me while staying very stable and comfortable. I like everything about it! Great work IKEA!
LOVE this desk stool!ChristineI've been having neck, shoulder, and hip pain with my regular supposedly ergonomic office chair so have been looking for an alternative. Came across this online and it is AWESOME! The seat is comfortable, love that it "wobbles" but not so much that it's distracting. Also love that it's the seat that does so, and not the entire stool itself. This thing is super sturdy and well made. I was concerned that not having wheels would be an issue but it's actually better without them. The seat spins and that is enough. (I think wheels would actually make this dangerous lol.) I've pretty much transitioned to sit in this all day instead of the desk chair. And it shipped for free with Ikea Family! Seriously the best Ikea purchase ever.

I researched a lot of reviews for sit-stand supports and even compared to ones that were over $500 this one came out on top, and I am glad I took a chance.
the seat is comfortable as the cushion is substantial. I can use it at any height with my desk. And it is very easy to adjust since the ring under the seat is accessible from any spot. It works much better than a foot pedal.
This is a quality product, too- it's made of durable metal, it's heavy, and it is standing up to daily use.
However, my husband keeps borrowing it to use at his work bench, so we might need to get him one of his own!

Secretly the perfect budget stool for active sittingNathanThis is a great stool for active sitting. It's tilting seat very gently encourages you to activate your core. I opted for this over wobble stools since a) it doesn't look stupid and b) having the tilt axis at the floor means the seat moves a lot for minor tilt adjustments.
other chairs that have a tilting seat cost tons of money, and since this isn't marketed as a wobble stool, I only found it by chance.

Sturdy, solid, firmThomasI love this stool. It’s heavy and solid. My only complaint is how uncomfortable the seat cushion is. I took the cover off to add a small, thin chair pad underneath (a MALÖRTSMOTT) and it’s so much more comfortable to sit on.

Great stool but…ShaunThis stool was great and very durable. I only rated it with 4 stars because it didn’t have wheels, which will make it difficult ti maneuver around my standing desk with ease. Didn’t even notice this until I took it out of the box! Still a great stool if you’re stationed in one place and don’t move around much.
Exactly what I wanted!PieterI had been searching for a stool that I could use at my desk at a regular height but also sit with my partner sometimes at his standing desk so this was the perfect answer. It doesn’t feel cheep, the seat tilts purposefully to be comfortable at whatever angle you’re sitting on, and the cylinder very effectively and smoothly raises & lowers. The chair is exactly what I was looking for and at the right price (most of these types of chairs are wicked expensive)!
Only gripe would be that the cylinder is not technically connected to the base so sometimes when you pick it up to move it the base falls off. It is designed to work this way, with gravity keeping it into the base when you’re sitting on it. I’ve gotten used to it and it’s not annoying enough to give this product anything less than 5 stars!

The cushion is the right combination of comfy soft and firm; with the ability to flex the angle, I can get to different positions, stretch and rearrange without getting up. It's just what I needed. Material
What is polyester?
Polyester is a durable, quick-drying and insulating material that is optimal to use for textiles and as filling in pillows, quilts and furniture. The material is made from crude oil – a limited resource. Since IKEA doesn’t want to contribute to more virgin oil being used, we are now gradually switching to recycled and traceable polyester from sources like PET bottles. What’s nice is that polyester can be recycled over and over, without changing or losing its great qualities.
