20 yearsLynnWe have had our Klippan for 20 years now, still standing strong, but we are ready for a bigger sofa. It is still so hard to let it go, we just don't have space for it. Apart from a gash on the seat, it is proven and tested to last. We bought it for a much higher price 20 years ago, but worth it.5

It's a place to sit I guessEllieIt does what it's supposed to do... but zero comfort, the backrest is too low and it feels kind of like you're sitting on a cardboard box. I wouldn't even say it's a great shake for the price... go to a yard sale! Cover ripped when we put it together, sat on it for 2 years and the springs were starting to go. I don't miss it at all. It's a place to sit I guess.2

Body heat literally melts the leatherAndrewSitting or laying on the couch for extended periods of time literally melts the leather. Somehow my body heat, coupled with the ambient temperature, melts the "leather". A pillow I lay on is permanently stained black. I lost two white t-shirts as they're now permanently stained black. I will never buy faux leather for as long as I live. This is a waste of money.1

I centered this piece against two Poang chairs (one on each side) to create an adaptable space from one to a four-place seat setting. The upholstery is nearly indistinguishable from real leather, sans that genuine "leather aroma."5
