Good quality pineLyndaI like the unfinished shelf, used in our kitchen. It is sturdy, but light weight. We stained it and it is the perfect depth for our narrow area. I am happy Ilea now offers unfinished pine.

IVAR base not compatible with IVAR Metal shelfRobinPurchased the IVAR metal shelf. Didn’t want it on the ground or hanging on wall. IVAR set has wood shelf to use with this base. Was assured by staff that this would work. Heads up….. it doesn’t. We made it roughly work as it was put together and painted by us. Uggggh. The metal shelves should have different name since they seem to be the only IVAR shelves that wouldn’t work with the IVAR base.

Great little basePamelaHad a piece of 2x10 we topped this with and then did a waxed finish andvit looks like aged woid. Added a green fur 2x3 rug on top and it’s the perfect vibe/look for a studio apartment. Very sturdy!
Solid baseLauraNice sturdy base that assembles quickly. Honestly, it took me more time to attach thr Ivar cabinet to it than to assemble the base.
