This 4-seat table can easily be extended into a 6-seat table using the included self-storing leaf.

The self-storing leaf is easy to insert to extend the table and just as easy to remove and tuck away under the table top when your guests have gone home.

The white table top has a smooth, flawless look that is easy to clean.

Legs and underframe are made of sturdy, solid hardwood.

Had a little difficulty with assembly, but still a worthwhile purchaseSocheataIKEA might have some QC issues with this one. I read another review here with another person who had to modify the pre-built pieces to get them to fit and I had similar (but different) issues here. On the extendable leaflet, there are two edges and a bracket that locks onto the rest of the table, and I believe that these pieces were were also assembled (from the manufacturer) a little too close to the edge, so the leaf did not fit properly. I had to unscrew the two wooden wedge pieces and reverse them (so the wedge faces the opposite direction) and even then, it still required some force to get the leaflet to sit since the bracket piece was also a bit too close to the edge. Despite these difficulties, I still think this table is a good value.4

Material

What is particleboard?

Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill leftovers – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a resource instead of possibly being discarded. We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look.
