In Russia, Ikea mattresses are made much better. Very very bad quality. Ugh.1
Like sleeping on a piece of plywoodKristin NowzekAfter a few years, this mattresses has still not softened up at all. It is like sleeping on a concrete floor. I am 39 years old and have chronic back pain now from sleeping on this mattress. I have tried to rotate it, change the sleeping position, but it is simply just how the bed feels. It is essentially just a large block of extremely firm foam. For the price, there are so many better alternatives.1

Warped and DefectiveTejal W.We got this mattress 2 days ago. Upon opening it, I noticed 30 mins that the mattress was warped to one side. I called IKEA immediately to share this. On hold for an hour. No resolution. No manager call back. They won’t refund to original payment. Only an exchange after you get a return card 5-8 days after the mattress is picked up. The only other mattress I would have chosen is sold out and not coming back in stock. I am so frustrated with their policy when it is clearly a defective item. They state when a mattress is opened, it cannot be returned. Only exchanged. This is BS since every mattress has to be opened. You wouldn’t know the condition otherwise. False promises of managers calling. Hours wasted in the chat and phone customer support. DO NOT BUY.1

Its so comfortable. I like thats its firm without being rock hard. I am a side and back sleeper and both positions are comfortable to sleep on this mattress. The combo of spring/memory foam seems to give the perfect amount of support to make the bed so nice to lay on and get a great sleep.5

However, the delivered item was hard and uncomfortable. I have no idea why Ikea displays one quality and then sends customers a different quality! I wish I could return. But returning a huge mattress is not easy.1
