Exceeded My Worst ExpectationsCaroliWe all know what IKEA is, affordable with the tradeoff being difficult to assemble and low quality. Even know this, I still got this dresser.
I’m truly shocked this has any positive reviews at all. It’s truly a piece of absolute trash. Massive amount of parts and particularly vague instructions. I’ve assembled plenty of furniture in my day, and this one took the cake. I spent over 11 hours took my time watched plenty of videos and still the dresser frankly didn’t work. The drawers get stuck, the whole this is wobbly, the back panel is laughably cheap and thin. I am so crushed. We were adding some elements to our daughter’s room as a surprise and now she has no dresser at all. Stay away. Will be disassembling and returning.1
Crap LisaDon’t waste your time with this besides the instructions being impossible. Also there’s completely different instructions online than the ones that come in the box. It came scratched. It was in the back so I was OK with it. Then it was coming apart as the person was building it. It’s that fake plastic woodboard or something like that. It makes splinters everywhere My dog got one in their paw. Also, they picked it up on July 21st to return it. Today is August 9th and we still haven’t got our refund. I’ve called twice already. The second time they told me it wasn’t returned till the 27th which is a lie because I have the signed paperwork.1

Complicated to build & annoying safety feature but looks great and is large!KendallI’ve build plenty of IKEA furniture but this one so far takes the cake for having a complicated manual for how to build it. There weren’t enough details and I ended up having to take the whole thing apart and redo it because I had the bottom part facing the wrong way which was so frustrating and exhausting. The doors themselves were easy to put together thankfully. Once done, some drawers fit snug in some areas but it is what it is since it serves it’s purpose. I also wish I knew that this dresser has a locking mechanism that only allows you to open one drawer at a time on each side; I think it’s for tipping over/safety issues but the thing is heavy and comes with wall anchors so it feels pointless and inconvenient.3

Sadly my middle piece broke off rearranging it in my daughter’s room. Now the whole dresser is sunken in, and doesn’t work. Of course this happens after the return policy. Cheaply made and poor designing on this part. I would not recommend this product. All my other dressers are from ikea and never had this problem. Very dissatisfied 1
Warped top pieceDeniseThe original item that was delivered had a warped top piece that was noticed after TaskRabbit put it together. Went to IKEA and they picked it up and delivered new one. Another person from TaskRabbit put it together. This time it was perfect, no warping.

Great Quality!AlaciaI have been searching for a year for a dresser. I randomly went to IKEA to look at the PAX system when this caught my eye! It’s modern, heavy and sturdy! 2 hours to put together max! I recommend a power drill for assembly. We already switched out the knobs for a customizable look. The boxes are heavy too! The drawers are very spacious! I would recommend this item to anyone for a dresser. 5

Please order from Amazon or any other dresserJia YangHorrible instructions. Our unit had horrible quality and predrilled holes were off center and too small. After assembly, the unit glides bad and is slightly crooked. Would return if could. Please stay away.1

Bad experience RuthIt’s a great design furniture but it should come with warning label on the website about the exposure to the wood dust. I was affected by this furniture for a week and a half, after wiping it and vacuuming it constantly. The material’s particles was airborne to the air and smell in my room. I got irritated throat and chest pain by it. Please label your products on it. 1

DefectiveJimI had to return it because some of the holes got drilled at an angle so nothing on the frame would line up. The mounting hardware was missing an entire bag of pieces. I returned it for another one and all is good.1
