Not comfortable at all as a adult sleeping JenniferI spent the money because I needed an extra bed for grandma when she visits the grandkids. You have to lay upside down because there’s zero padding on the one whole side. I bought a $70 pad and it’s still not sleepable. I should have taken it back. I have regrets. It’s very low so even her sitting on it is uncomfortable for frequent use. I now have a $300 kids bedroom laundry holder. My own fault I guess.
Small but perfectPamThis sofa is small, I knew it was going to be small, but still taken back at its size. BUT, it is exactly what I need in the space. This replaces one of those beanbag chairs that contains a full sized mattress. It was large, much larger that I expected and really took up a quarter of the room. No body has slept on the bed part, so I cannot say if it's comfortable or not. But my corgi's love the sofa, it's just their size.
Smells AwfulHaoweiVery strong pungent smell. Take weeks to dissipate the smell by open the window 24/7
Soft on the outside, hard on the inside.EricaLove the color and the look. When you open it up to sleep, you can see that there are three sections. The top section (closest to the interior) is wood. There is no cushion and it's unfortunate because you're sleeping on it. Even if you put pillows there when sleeping, they will move around.
Clever small sleeperAlyssaThis is a clever, very small sleeper sofa. The sofa seating unfolds to lay on the ground as a sleeping space, which is perfect for kids. However, the cushioning does not run the full length of the sleeping space, as the part that remains attached to the couch is overly firm. It feels a bit overpriced but it's still nice.
cute but not usefulSaurabh Subhashi bought this for my daughter's room, it looks very well but the cushion is too soft and not comfortable seating and once you flat the head board is too hard. I may change it after while to something better
Offgassing UnbearableCraigI buy IKEA because of the lack of strong shemical smells found in cheaper furniture. This is the first time I could no handle it even after airing out and running purifiers. Returned due to toxic smell. The painful arm rests didn't help but I wanted to love this mini couch.
Offgassing foam smellAnonymous reviewerI bought this and could smell the foam fumes offgassing before I even took it out of the box. Once opened it was even worse and gave me a headache. Even after airing out outdoors for a full week the smell persisted. I returned it and was told several people had returned this for the same reason. It is such a cool simple design for a small space, but the low quality, possibly toxic foam is unacceptable.
Perfect size for a small room AmandaThe color is spot on in person and it fits a small room perfectly! Only hang up is the cushions aren’t that comfortable for side sleepers.
Mostly for little onesSabrinaThe size and color were perfect! However, the main base is not cushioned like the top 2 pieces. There is a hard plywood type of wood all along the main bottom as well as a board that goes across where the two legs are in the front. If you open it and sleep with your head at the "foot" of the bed, it may work, but thats a little weird and not always practical. If you lay "correctly" that wood supporting the legs is digging right into your shoulders/back. The cushions are okay and for the price, if you have littles sleeping over, it's great. For an adult guest, I will have to keep looking, unfortunately.
Great, But SmallSilasThis is a great little couch that is shockingly comfortable. Like most people, though, I wish that it wasn't quite so small--I would jump on a larger version of this for sure. But if you don't mind the small size, I do recommend it. The only real problem I have with this as a couch is how thin the arms are.
Want to love itCourtneyI wanted to love this so bad. I love the style and the couch is actually comfortable to sit on even with two people. But when folded out to a bed, the bottom “cushion” (where your head and shoulders lay) is just some batting on plywood. Soooo uncomfortable. So if you’re planning to use this as a bed , you’ll either have to have your guests sleep with their heads at the end or buy a full size mattress pad and cut it down to size (it’s smaller than a full and bigger than a twin). It’s about as big as a double camping pad, so two slender people could squeeze for a night.
Just a heads up - it’s a very small couch and low to the ground, so it would look silly in a living room, in my opinion. Better for an office or playroom.
Dorm room perfectionElizabethThe compact size, cheerful color and easy comfort make this couch a perfect choice to brighten up a dorm room. Perfect way to make an overnight guest feel at home.
Petite but sweetAndreaA slightly larger, more structured and grown-up version of the iconic 1980s era flip&fold chair. This sofa is perfect for small spaces and is also surprisingly quite comfortable even at its petite dimensions. The color may be a bit overwhelming for some, but the addition of pillows and a throw can certainly alleviate the primary-yellow intensity if you can’t embrace it. It is very easy to put together and to convert to a bed. The only con for me is that when folded out into a bed there is no padding on the sofa-seat frame area, also wish the legs could have been real wood and not plastic. But, overall, a great little convertible sofa at an unbeatable price.
Bang for your buck!MayaIf you need a mini sofabed for a spare room that's easy to transport and easy to build this is a good option. It took about 30 minutes to put together. I don't love the yellow color but get away with covering it with a few throws to make it more chic. Easily transforms into a bed. Probably best to sleep only one. Could also be good for a kids room/teen room if they need spare beds for sleepovers.
Baby SofaFatimaThis sofa is deceptively comfortable but it is so tiny. It's even smaller than most loveseats. I fear it may look out of place around normal sized furniture. It may still be good at lay on though because it's really soft.
