Not big enoughMariaI've bought mine 4 years ago for a king size bed & it does NOT cover the sides, I actually put it on my queen size bed in my guest bedroom & it fits, I'm so disappointed that when it says KING SIZE, it should fit that size.2

Not warm at allJamalBut made my bed little more soft. So I am keeping it1
Unfortunately, its very noisyLauraHi, I bought this a couple of years ago. Light fluffy and at good price. It was place in the guest room and look great. We just had guest from out of the country, and it was use for the first time. It's so noisy every time you move it, that it had to be removed and I had to give my guest a different option. I wish I had tried as soon as I bought it. First time I am disappointed with an Ikea product. 1
Cozy, Plush Insert but DO NOT WASH IT! YlsibelI’ve owned my Queen size insert for almost 4yrs now and unnecessarily decided I wanted to wash it. I hadn’t read the other reviews until now, after washing it twice thinking my washing machine was failing me… due to the down/feather insert of the duvet it has a strong musty odor. It also lost the fluffiness which is one of two things I love about it considering it gave my bed that cloud hotel look!
Note: the Queen size did feel a little “short” on my bed because I have a 14” mattress and a 9” box spring but considering it’s a 86” x 86”, one would think it’d cover the sides completely.
Despite the odor after washing it and the sizing issue, I do think it’s worth the price and I will be purchasing the King size instead for the extra coverage considering it’s 86” x 102”. Fingers crossed, it covers the sides of my bed.
AGAIN, DO NOT WASH IT!
I don’t eat in bed or have pets so a duvet insert is all I’ve needed these last four yrs. 4
Not queen size.GI purchased a queen size but doesn't fit my bed properly. I use this product since decades, so I wonder if something has changed. 1
Wonderfully Warm DuvetJenniThis duvet lives up to its description. It is warm!! The fabric has a slight "crunchy" feel and sound to it, which I love; however, it could bother some. The duvet has a bit of weight to it, which I also love, and most likely you will need a colder room for this one. May not be able to use in the summer. Overall, I love it, but may not be everyone's choice.5
Light, fluffy & warmNancyI highly recommend this comforter. It's light and doest weigh you down allowing you to turn, fluffy, and warm. I used a duvet cover regardless and it didn't Upton taking it out of its packaging.5
Stinky AnonymousWhen I first bought this blanket, I washed it and it took a very long time to dry. It also had a disgusting smell. After some research, I realized it’s the duck feathers. So I did not plan to wash it again for a while. The smell eventually went away, but I had to wash it again about a month later because the dog peed on it. The smell was there again after wash. It’s so gross. The blanket is very warm. Many nights I can’t sleep with it because I get too hot. I wish I would’ve bought the synthetic one instead. Nonetheless, if you need a warm blanket, this is it! 3
This thing smells atrocious PeterOkay, so I purchased this thing but not before having read the positive and negative reviews as I am pretty open and I thought that even if it did stink, I could follow some of the advice given in other reviews saying that if I’d simply leave it hanging in the sun eventually the fowl odor would disappear. yeah, not so much. Despite allowing it to hang outside in the sun for some 3 days and flipping it from one side to the other, it never began to smell like anything other than fowl, which in my opinion is foul. All that to say this. I am heading off to the laundromat to wash this smelly thing. I know that one should not wash down articles, but from time to time I do launder my down vest of 20 years and it still keeps me warm. So let’s see what happens.2
very warm, heavy and pleasantEkaterinavery warm, heavy and pleasant5
Very warm and comfySallyWe live in apt but the heat is not as strong. We got this comforter to make us warm during the winter and have a good sleep. Highly recommended if you are afraid of cold.5
Warm and toasty!ToriLove this! It's super fluffy and warm. I love that it has extra weight too it as well.5

Toasty Christmas GiftJaniceGift for my son who is an overnight big rig driver. His sleep pattern is basically reversed as he sleeps during the day He suggested this duvet as a possible gift for him. He loves it 5
Stinky smell!!SunI am really frustrated because I bought this comforter today and when I got home and opened it, it had an awful smell. Just like other reviewers mentioned, it smells like chicken poop, wet dog, and a rotten pond. The smell is unbearable, and I have to return it, but it takes me an hour to drive to the store. If I return it by mail, I would have to pay for the shipping, which feels so unfair. This is a defective product. After looking it up, I found that other people are in the same situation. I really regret not reading the reviews first.1
STINKS LIKE WET DOGSophiaBeware this duvet stinks horribly. It smells like a musty wet dog. I made sure to dry it super well after washing but that didn’t help at all. It made all of my other bedding smell awful to the point where I had to throw it all out. My room still stinks. Luckily IKEA has an excellent return policy and took it back even though it was used. NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE!!!!1
Do not purchase AmandaWe returned ours because the down/ duck feathers were clearly not properly sterilized during the manufacture process. Upon opening our blanket it smelled like a dirty pond.
I used to have a down blanket that I adored from Ikea. It lasted years. I will not be repurchasing from them anymore. The standards have gone down while the prices have gone up. 1
