Hinges too strongKellyWe bought our house with these cabinets already installed so I am not sure how old they are. But, we use the cabinets several times every single day and that wore out the mirror doors. The part where the hinges connect to the aluminum(?) door frame has cracked all over and one door already fell off. I would love to purchase just new mirror doors and attach them to my existing cabinet hinges because the cabinets we have are light wood colored, not white or grey. Also, because of the mounting issues I have read in the reviews I would rather not try to install the same cabinet in the existing holes!

Nice cabinet, can use drywall anchor + studErikaReally nice looking cabinet! The instructions say to screw it in to two studs, but being only 18" wide meant that, if I wanted it centered over my sink, I would only hit one stud. I screwed two screws into the stud (vertically about 3.5" apart) and then used a 75lb drywall anchor, in addition to using two more 75lb drywall anchors for the cabinet's "hooks," as instructed. It's very sturdy, was easy to install, and is about $200 cheaper than similar looking alternatives. (Also reminder that IKEA doesn't include wall screws/anchors because there's no way to account for every possible wall type, and frankly you should want to buy them yourself so you know exactly the specifications and quality of the tools holding up a somewhat heavy mirrored cabinet over your sink).
