Not sure if maybe some batches are bad (since some people have said it is super soft) but the one I received it is not soft at all (nor it was before washing it.) IT is an off-white and not pure white, which would have been fine for me regardless. Another thing this cover DOES NOT have the ties in the corner for your duvet insert

I put it on in the fall and take it off in the spring. I use a down comforter inside it and I have no issues whatsoever. The duvet cover is soft. I’m not sure where these reviews about it being scratchy and rough have come from. I wash mine once a year prior to packing it away. It’s cotton, yes, it will wrinkle if you don’t take it out of the dryer right away. The buttons are not hard to snap. I’ve had no problems with this whatsoever and would definitely buy it again. The price is excellent

I had a sensory reaction to the material even after washing it, but the product description claims the material will get softer after every wash. I didn’t keep the duvet set long enough to find out (returned). Also, the other reviews are accurate regarding the color “white.” It’s definitely ivory with more of a yellow undertone.
Nice reasonably priced cotton duvetLeonaJust put it on the bed so haven't "used" it for long, but definitely like this duvet. 100% cotton (important to me), washes well, fits my older Ikea duvet perfectly and looks nice on bed without having to iron. Some reviewers stated fabric is not a true white, but to my eye, it's definitely white vs. an ivory or cream color. Very pleased with this duvet so far and its value for the price.

Nice, but not pure whiteChristopherI bought this duvet cover to go with my white sheets. Unfortunately these are not white but slightly yellow/off-white. Very disappointed. I don't live near an IKEA so can't return them. The color needs to be clear in the product description. OTHERWISE if that doesn't bother you I am a fan of the slightly wrinkled/distressed look and stiff crisp cotton fabric. Great value. Would be 5 stars if it wasn't for the color :(. Also took quite a while to arrive as they forgot to include them in my order and the replacement was delayed several times.
100% cotton for the win!RachelIt is amazing how something as small as making sure your bedding is 100% natural fibers can make such a drastic difference! As soon as I put the Dvala duvet cover on our down comforter I could feel the difference in how we slept! So much cooler and breathable!! and for the sale price of $19.99 you can't beat it!!
