Can’t live without it!JoelThis is a great stool. Easy to put together and handy to have around. I have four of them around the house. Can’t live without them!
Finally back in stock!!JaredWe have owned one of these step stools for 2 decades or more! Finally getting it back in stock, we bought two.
Great step stool!KarenNice and sturdy. Easy to assemble!
Best stool ever. WhitneyI have one of these that is 20yo. It feels rickety but ours has been through hell and has not broken, separated, or fallen apart in any way. I mostly use it myself and have weighed up to 188#. Through the years my kids have thrown it, slammed it down, scooted it around like an office chair, vomited all over it, peed on it during potty training, jumped on it, and used it as a valet. It has moved houses 5 times. It has survived everything and cleaned up well. It has outlasted every other stool we’ve ever had. Do not hesitate to buy one.
Perfect stool for many usesDeannaI love this little stool! It is sturdy and attractive. it sits near my door with a basket on it, ready for whenever I need it. I use it to for everything from reaching top cabinets to painting walls, hanging pictures etc.
Sturdy, but design could be more considerate. DavidLooks great, but I don't understand why anyone would design a step stool without grip. The lower step could've also been wider. Ikea products also seem harder and harder to assemble with the screws and tools provided. You need a good amount of strength to assemble this.
Mixed experience: solid but rickety, simple but tedious to assemble YuriFirst thing first, this is one is deceptively simple looking but because of the trapezoid shape all parts are beveled. The manual mentions it but isn't less obvious the one might expect of an IKEA product. Secondly, after assembly the stepping stool is rocking even on a perfectly flat surface. Finally, the quality of the woods seems nicer that soft pine you typically get at IKEA but it also means you have to work at it driving each screw in.
