Amazing storage optionNinaCon: Putting the drawers in: I shredded some of the paint & pieces off trying to fit it in. I know it shouldn’t have happened, but I was struggling with that part. Pros: Building was easy, and drawers work well I love it amazing storage options worth the money !!!
Drawers for daysChanthaI bought 2 used this mount to my 6 ft Butcher table as a base. It is very sturdy and strong. The quality is great and the quantity of drawers were great.

Adequate but not as good as other collectionsHannahBe careful how you assemble. Following directions left me with it assembled upside down because of step 6. One instruction is for the build with desk & the other without desk. If you have the desk, make sure the panel with the 4 holes at each corner is on the top, which the rails for the drawers are not as deep. The space between the 1st and 2nd rail is about 3.5 inches. If you aren't using a desk with it, Put that piece with the extra holes on the bottom. Otherwise you will have holes in the top of your cabinet.
Drill holes on this are not as clean as other collections I've gotten. I had so many of the drill holes chip or split, which I've never had happen on other IKEA systems. Casters are sold separate (which I knew) but I recommend skipping the included feet. They are too small & just stick on. One came off as I moved it into place. I finally removed them & the plastic part came off super easily but the sticker part really didn't want to come off. (Not a challenge for goo gone.)
love these drawers!IsabelaThey’re so cute and have a trendy vibe. You can make and shift whatever vibe or appearance you want with desk tops. I made a vanity with 2 of them and desk top. Easy assembly aswell !! Read and look at direction images VERY closely.
Wanted this for new office - Small Drawers came wrongAnonymous reviewerI recently moved to a new state and I purchased this at an ikea near my previous home when I was middle of moving. I knew I would not be able to go back but I wanted to get the pieces then so I would not have to go back. Putting this together started great but the small drawer holes for the side panels came drilled too small so part of the drawers have splintered. It technically works but I know one day they will break due to the sides not being stable at all. Also some of the outer vinyl came scratched like from a machine. It just all around was not fun to put together as it had many issues. I would take it back and get a different one or new color but I am sadly now far enough away that I can not do that easily. I am going to finish putting it together and use it because I cannot afford another one and I cannot make the tril to return it. Be aware some of the drill holes might need to be drilled wider when buying this and watch out for scratches. Super disappointed in this one.

Good unit of drawersAnthonyEasy to assemble and quite good quality for the price. Drawer slides are smooth and drawer pull allows the drawer to open almost all the way.
Defective reinstalled drawer sliders RossellyI bought 2 Alex drawer. Both were defective. After almost completing the installment the drawers now won’t go in because the pre installed sliders are installed in the wrong place. Also one of the legs of the drawers did not have a pre drill whole. Do I return it halfway build because I not taking this apart just to return it
Incorrect drawer slide locationsChawanI purchased two of these. One turned out great—though the drawers were slightly uneven, it wasn’t a dealbreaker for me. The second, however, was a different story. The pre-installed drawer sliders were incorrectly positioned, which meant I had to remove and reinstall them myself. This wasn’t a simple fix, as it required precise leveling and spacing. It’s ugly but doable, definitely not easy. All that said, I wouldn’t recommend this product to anyone who doesn’t have a drill—or the patience to disassemble and return it if things go wrong.
Work Great!NancyWe purchased 3 of these and used 2 Lagkapten tops to make a double desk area. They look and work great!
Drawers are wrongFeliciaThe pre installed sliders are too close together. I can’t finish this stupid thing as the drawers don’t all fit. I’m too far to return this and exchange and to try and rebuild. Absolutely garbage.
Needs an oak finishArmaanIt's nice but it really needs an oak-toned finish. Might return this for now, I really wish it was in a light oak/birch color, similar to the Billy bookcase.

Very disappointing. HannahMy husband got me this to store some of my sewing supplies because it was recommended to us from a family friend. All of the drawer had fallen off their drawer slides within the first month of owning this. He did say that this was easy to put together, but I do not think that that makes up for all of the drawers falling off of the drawer slides. None of the screws stay in their pre-drilled screw hole that came on the drawers themselves.
Nice but DifficultGregI love this idea, however would have gladly paid the assembling fee had I know what a pain in the butt this would be to assemble. Don't be fooled!
Feet for drawer unit are disappointingDonnaWhile I like the drawer unit, the feet for the bottom are a disappointment. They are stick on, small and not adjustable. I also expected to get wheels with the 3 drawer units purchased. Several of the feet came off when moving the units. Looking at stainless steel adjustable feet from Amazon. Not happy spending more $$
Easier to put together than expectedCoriWas very easy to put together by myself- 2 sets of alex drawers plus desktop. Just be careful that when you add the top and bottom you pay attention to where the drawers slide in- that the smaller drawers will be on top and larger on bottom. I built my first one upside down and had to switch those two pieces (very easy to do).
Great value, quality and perfect for craft rooms. KarenI Love my two cabinets. I am a senior and they were easy to put together myself and are very sturdy. I'm using them to store my various sewing and embroidery threads. Thread spools fit upright in the bottom three drawers.
