My gloss finish item is the wrong color

Protective cellophane is applied to items with a glossy finish to protect them from scratches during transport and assembly. Simply remove this film when prompted in the instructions.

IKEA uses a protective cellophane on most products with a glossy finish to help reduce the number of scratches the product can acquire during production, shipping and assembly. This protective film is usually blue or gray. To remove it, just pull carefully.
