Why might my product availability change during checkout?

At IKEA, our goal is to make sure that every item you select is actually available to you.

The way our systems work helps us to avoid the same item being sold twice.
To prevent the same product from being sold to multiple customers, our systems update stock in real time. This means that availability can sometimes change quickly.
Imagine that another customer is checking out for the same item in-store or online. Until the purchase is complete, the stock remains dynamic. That's why, occasionally, a product that was available at the beginning of your purchase may no longer be available at the time of checkout.
We advise you to finalize your purchase as soon as possible to secure your items. If a product you want is not available at the moment, please check back later on our website. Stock is replenished regularly and you may be able to place your order online on a next visit.
