The light source has a lifetime of approx. 25,000 hours. This corresponds to about 20 years if the lamp is on for 3 hours per day.
Batteries should be handed in for recycling in accordance with local environmental regulations for waste disposal.

Batteries are sold separately. IKEA recommends LADDA rechargeable battery 2450 mAh HR6 AA 1.2V. 3 pieces required.
Observe the polarity marks plus (+) and minus (−) and ensure correct battery insertion into the product.
