Designer thoughts
Designer thoughts
"It’s inspiring and a great responsibility to design new parts for an icon like IVAR. The idea of adding felt as material was to create an exciting sense of cohesion with the pine and give IVAR a slightly softer, warmer expression. The series also gets new functions with the doors where notes, photos and other things can be fixed with pins. And the shelf with compartments helps keep small items organised. I think this makes IVAR even better – and hopefully many people agree!"
