IKEA Korea hosts the Happiness with KRW 1,000 Campaign

KRW 1,000 to be donated for every IKEA purchaseCollected funds to be used for children’s shelters

[Seoul – December 10] Home furnishing company IKEA Korea will be hosting the Happiness with KRW 1,000 Campaign to help children’s shelters in Gwangmyeong city from December 18 to 20 in celebration of its one year anniversary.

Through the Happiness with KRW 1,000 Campaign, IKEA Korea will donate KRW 1,000 for every purchase at the Gwangmyeong store, giving the customers a chance to participate in a meaningful cause together with IKEA.

Funds collected as part of the campaign will be donated to children’s shelters in Gwangmyeong city.

Nicolas Johnsson, IKEA Korea Marketing Manager said, “We are happy to host a meaningful event in celebration of the one year anniversary of the IKEA Gwangmyeong store. We are excited to partner with our customers in giving back to the Gwangmyeong community, and at IKEA Korea, we will continue to provide support to the local communities we operate in.”

As a part of celebrating the 1st year anniversary, IKEA Gwangmyeong store will serve Swedish breakfast buffet for only KRW 1,000 at the Restaurant between 9:30 – 11:00 am on December 18 while offering various onsite activities such as fish play for children as well as giveaway for visitors who leave congratulatory comments on the message board at the store from December 18 to 20.
