The HEMNES bookcase and glass-door cabinets are made of solid wood, designed to last and keep their place in the home of IKEA customers for a long time.
Lately we have learned that the wooden shelves can shrink and move due to dry indoor climate.
Since many customers wish to continue using their HEMNES, IKEA is now offering a simple solution as a service free of charge. All customers that owns a HEMNES manufactured before 2017, are welcome to order longer replacement pins by contacting your closest store or customer support center.
