IKEA Korea holds ‘Midsommar sale is here!’ event

Offers up to 60% discount from June 13 to July 2, additional 10% offer from the sale price for IKEA
Midsommar is the biggest summer festival in Sweden on the longest day of the year during the mid-June every year. On this day, Swedes traditionally wear flower garlands and dance around Midsommar pole in celebration. IKEA Korea has also been holding various events for Midsommar including sale to invite Korean customers to experience the Swedish culture and join the festival.
The sale will be held from June 13 to July 2 at IKEA Gwangmyeong, Goyang and IKEA Korea e-commerce, marking up to 60% discount on furniture and home furnishing accessories. 10% additional discount from the sale price will be offered for IKEA FAMLY members to enjoy a wide range of IKEA home furnishings at an even more affordable price.
In addition to the sale, a variety of activities to enjoy Swedish tradition will be held as well. Especially, various events to introduce the Swedish culture including making flower garlands, putting up lights, fishing for children, pole dancing and hashtag events will be held at IKEA Gwangmyeong and Goyang for IKEA FAMILY members. Members can join the event by signing up on-site for IKEA Gwangmyeong from June 22 to 23, or by making online reservation on IKEA FAMILY websitefor IKEA Goyang from June 21 to 23.

Meanwhile, IKEA Korea also holds Midsommar events at Park Music Festival in The Olympic Park on upcoming June 15 and 16. In particular, existing IKEA FAMILY members will be given coupons that can be used at IKEA Gwangmyeong and Goyang during the sale event period, while new IKEA FAMILY members can receive IKEA FRAKTA bag and enjoy roulette games with communication for IKEA Giheung which will be opened at the end of this year.
