Open for 9 days from Nov 16 to share the joy of home furnishing

Home furnishing retail company IKEA Korea announced that it will open the ‘Hej Giheung’ pop-up from November 16 to 24 at Centre Hall of Lotte Mall Suji in Suji-gu, Yongin, Gyeonggi Province.

Scheduled to open on December 12, IKEA Giheung will be the third IKEA store to open in Korea, following the two previous openings of IKEA Gwangmyeong and Goyang. The new 91,000m² store will be covering 2 basement floors and 3 floors above ground, including parking space. IKEA Giheung will offer a wide range of home furnishing ideas and solutions relevant to the needs of the many people in Giheung based on the findings of home visits in and around the Giheung area. The new store is also expected to become a great destination for customers looking for a fun day out with their families.

A variety of fun, exciting events and activities will be available at “Hej Giheung!” pop-up for IKEA Family members and visitors to enjoy. Anyone can sign up onsite to become a member of IKEA Family for the special opportunity to visit and explore the new IKEA Giheung on ‘IKEA Family Day,’ scheduled for December 10, two days ahead of the public opening date. It will also offer quiz events about IKEA Giheung opening and play activities for children.
