What kind of reader are you?

You know the type. You might be the type. For the deep-immersion reader, storage isn't just functional- it's a statement. Floor-to-ceiling shelving. A dedicated reading chair. A lamp that earns its place.

They see bookshelves differently. Not storage but a canvas. Coffee table books stand upright. Framed prints lean casually. Plants, pottery, paperbacks all arranged with purpose. And that's the point.

Not every reader needs a dedicated library. Casual readers want furniture that looks good without trying too hard — and tidies up just as easily as it comes together.

The night reader knows that the best books start at 11pm. Build a bedside setup that doesn't wake a partner, take over the bedroom, or turn the whole thing into a chaotic stack of unread paperbacks.

They have a system. Research on one shelf, reference on another, notebooks in the drawer below. This is a reading space that doubles, or triples, as a workspace.

Who decided reading had to happen upright? The Lounger didn't get that memo. A cushion here, a pouffe there, a daybed if the mood calls for it. Reading happens low and slow.

Little readers have big opinions. So give them shelves they can actually reach. Low, open, and full of colour because a book they can see is a book they'll want to read.
