Assembly & Care:
Packaging was good, but it took me a long time to assemble this alone—it’s really not a single person’s job! Aligning the parts is a very tedious task. Pro-tip: I actually assembled mine on my bed to provide a soft surface. I was worried that applying pressure on a hard floor might damage the material or the finish, so the bed kept everything cushioned while I worked.
Overall, it’s a beautiful piece that totally transformed my space, just be patient with the setup!"
Simple design but difficult to assemble being so delicate PallaviI could not assemble this product from ikea when the fact is it is so simple . What happened was that everytime I tried to screw up the boards they could not stand straight and the material started shredding on my repeated screwing efforts . Eventually I had to call for assistance which was not from the ikea but some third party. I think it’s design failure while doing the assembly the weight is being distributed unevenly leading to damage.
