It’s easy to keep the cables from your TV and other devices out of sight but close at hand, as there are several cable outlets at the back of the TV bench.

You can choose to stand the TV bench on the floor or mount it on the wall to free up floor space.

If you want to organise inside you can complement with BESTÅ interior fittings.

Steady also on uneven floors, thanks to the adjustable feet.

Good to know

We recommend a TV bench to be a bit wider than the TV placed on it. This TV bench suits a TV up to 45 inches. You can choose a larger TV if it’s not heavier than the specified max load for the bench’s top.

The top panel of the TV bench is intended for a TV with a maximum weight of 16 kg.

The max. load for a wall-hung TV bench depends on the wall material.

If you are uncertain about what type of fixing devices to use, please contact your local hardware store.

120 cm wide TV benches require 6 legs or 4 legs and one BESTÅ supporting leg.

Doors, hinges and interiors are sold separately.

Safety and compliance

A floor-standing TV bench must be fixed to the wall with the included wall fasteners. The same fasteners should be used if you mount the TV bench on a wall, yet BESTÅ suspension rail must not be used.Must be anchored to the wall. Different wall materials require different types of fixing devices. Use fixing devices suitable for the walls in your home, sold separately.

Looks good but is too wobblyAnonymous reviewerAssembled and visually is a good looking unit however it wobbles way too much. In store was told to fix it to the wall but that can't be done in my case. Added corner brackets which helped a bit but it still moves enough to misalign all doors and making them essentially impossible to level.3

I chose the screw fixing type hanging brackets to support the shelves. Without relieving the edges of each shelf locally in 4 places by 1mm for the arm of the bracket , the shelves were too tight a fit. The modification worked well. The shelves were a good close fit but easily removeable.4

Good modular sytem. Bit wobbly.Anonymous reviewerI wanted a new stand for my TV, with enough room for an amplifier, PlayStation, TV box and sub underneath. This does the trick and is a good height. The glass top really works well too. After assembly it wobbles a bit from side to side, so I think I might have done something wrong, though this is a long way from my first flat-pack. When I get up the courage to take it apart I will find out if it's me or the product. Watch this space,3

Problems with one doorAnonymous reviewerWe had this unit for over a year. One of the doors started "hanging", becoming not aligned. We adjusted the hinges, but the wood/material to which the top hinge is attached is either less sturdy or faulty, so the hinge moves. The door needs to be manually lifted a bit to make it fit with the other to close it. Quite disapointing1

Material

What is constructed board?

We use constructed boards when manufacturing many of our pieces of furniture, such as tables and wardrobes. They are light yet still stable and strong. Each board has a frame made of chipboard, fibreboard or solid wood, while the inside is a honeycomb filling structure made of mostly recycled paper, which is extra durable thanks to its special construction. The board is then covered with a protective paint, foil or veneer depending on the style wanted.
