Since the top and bottom panels seem identical, I recommend inspecting both beforehand to choose the better-looking side. Unfortunately, the piece I used for the top arrived with scratches and damaged corners that exposed the wood underneath.

Audio/Visual Bench - Black/BrownAnonymous reviewerThe structure of this bench, in the ‘Kallax’ group, is similar in strength to the numerous other complimentary items I’ve purchased. The one big problem is the black/finish is not durable or robust when compared the white & oak finishes, and several of each. In fact, on opening the packaging there were numerous marks and scuffs on edges & flats. This I was prepared to let go but I’ve become more frustrated with the ‘fragile’ nature of the finish.

Superb quality Anonymous reviewerThis kallax TV bench looks amazing for the price and is so versatile - we added shelves and cupboards to ours. We did have to buy white stickers to cover the visible screw caps on the sides - just be mindful of that if you want a completely sleek, white look. Otherwise perfect. Built and then added to the kallax underframe!

before you purchase check the size/s of any accessories you plan to use in this product.Anonymous reviewerObviously most size televisions will sit on top of this item but do make sure you can comfortably attached any electrical items to your power supply. We found an underframe was particularly useful as it brought the tv height about right for us. We know it is not always possible but if you can visit a store to see your item 'in the flesh'. Double, double check your order before placing, however always remember that even when you may have made a mistake the aftersales service is second to none.
