A wall-mounted TV bench creates a clean, airy look and there are no legs that get in the way when you vacuum the floor.
It’s easy to keep the cables from your TV and other devices out of sight but close at hand, as there are several cable outlets at the back of the TV bench.
The cable outlet at the top lets cables run down smoothly into the TV bench.
The shelves are adjustable so you can customise your storage as needed.
You can choose to use either the soft-closing or push-open function. The push-opener lets you open the doors with just a light push, while the soft-closing hinges makes sure they close silently and softly.
Optimise and organise your BESTÅ storage with boxes and inserts that you like.
Good to know
We recommend a TV bench to be a bit wider than the TV placed on it. This TV bench suits a TV up to 72 inches. You can choose a larger TV if it’s not heavier than the specified max load for the bench’s top.
If you choose the soft closing function for your BESTÅ, we recommend complementing the fronts with knobs/handles to make the drawers/cabinets more convenient to open.
The top panel of the TV bench is intended for a TV with a maximum weight of 30 kg.
The max. load for a wall-hung TV bench depends on the wall material.

Why are the hinges such a painAnonymous reviewerI have built many Ikea products over the years but this TV bench with door hinges has to be the most frustrating ever - followed every instruction to the letter, watched so many videos for advice and nothing improves the drop off. Must admit there are plenty of reviews warning people that this is an issue - I really should have taken notice and purchased something else.

We have only gone to build the cabinet and was given the wrong instruction so I had to find someone on YouTube. Also the top shelf which is exposed has a massive hole in it which is random as there are know drill holes for that area.

I did the assembly myself including mounting it to the wall with zero issues maybe a slight tinker to the adjustments on the door hinges but who expects them to be straight first time? I suggest adding the doors and draws after fitting the initial cabinet to the wall. 10/10 and look forward to buying some more black/walnut furniture.
Really poor quality Anonymous reviewerWhat can I say. The ikea range used to be better quality. This has gone down hill any little mark or nick, event the slightest damages the surface. Even wiping it down with a cloth means the surface struggles.

Love it! Anonymous reviewerMixed reviews online but I personally found this easy to build. Built myself within 1 hour. Doors are perfect, didn’t need to realign but easy to do this as it’s shown on instructions. Had to buy some extra corner L shaped brackets to secure to wall studs- didn’t want to screw to plasterboard and the 4 brackets didn’t all line up to a wall stud. Was easy to do once we knew what we were going to do. Looks great!
Also bought besta suspension rails thinking they would work- they don’t work with the tv unit!
TERRIBLE- DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!Anonymous reviewerI’ve been a loyal IKEA customer for years, and I’ve never encountered a product as disappointing as this one. The quality of the wood is extremely poor—you can literally hear fragments moving inside the panels. Even worse, there are no instructions provided for installing the doors, which is incredibly frustrating.
The biggest issue, however, is the imbalance between the heavy doors and the flimsy frame. The frame is made of such weak timber that it can’t properly support the weight. As a result, the doors sag and actually touch the floor when opened. This product is far below the standard I’ve come to expect from IKEA. AVOID AT ALL COST!

Bought this bench and I really like it. Easy to assemble, just had to educate myself in setting the doors to align.
Problem is that the mounting rails recommended, are not suitable for mounting the bench on the wall, and nothing else is available. Very disappointing!
How can you show pictures of the bench mounted to the wall, but not provide the correct hardware?
Horrific qualityAnonymous reviewerI’ve bought ikea furniture for many years now, but I was absolutely shocked by the poor quality of the Besta range.
The hole fittings are too small vs the screws, the unit itself is bubbles and appears to have either water damage or a manufacturing defect. There’s scratches over the top of the unit and the doors need constant adjustment to get them to close properly. Easily the worst piece of furniture I’ve ever bought from IKEA and it’s really put me off ever going back.

10/10Anonymous reviewerReally happy with the purchase, it looks exactly as I was expecting it to, easy to assemble. Seeing a lot of negative reviews about the doors not aligning - It's a simple case of adjusting the screw in the middle of the door hinge for left/right and adjusting the lower screw to move the doors up/down - its take a bit of tweaking but it will align once you get the right balance. I didn't mount mine on the wall so I can't speak to those issues - however I would highly recommend this product if you have in on the floor.
