What do I do if I have a damaged product?

We’re very sorry to hear about this! You can quickly organise a return for damaged items that were delivered, through 'Manage my Order' on your account, return to your local IKEA or contact our customer service team.

We're sorry to hear your item has damage.  For every purchase, you can easily choose the solution that suits you best. Below are options we offer:

  • You can bring the product to any store (except Plan & Order Points, or Order & Collection Points) with your receipt or order confirmation, and our co-workers will be happy to help.
  • If you received the damaged item on a delivery, then within 7 days you can quickly and easily organise a return for either a refund or replacement using the Track and manage your order page and clicking "Track order".
  • If an item is damaged and the delivery was completed over 7 days ago, please speak to a member of our customer team. Contact details can be found on our contact us page.
