What's the right height for hanging pendant lights?
As a general rule, pendant lights look best hung around 70-90cm below the ceiling for a standard UK ceiling height of about 2.4m. Got higher ceilings? Just add a little extra length to keep the proportions feeling right, and adjust until it looks and feels just right for your space.
What's the ideal spacing for pendant lights in a kitchen?
As a rough guide, aim for around 60-90cm between the bottom of your pendant lampshade (or decorative bulb) and the countertop or table below. Many of our pendant lights include a cord set with adjustable cord length so that the lamp hangs at the precise height you desire.
