Ratings and reviews

Not compatible with older rails/mountsAnonymous reviewerI wanted to extend a curtain we put up a few years ago, but the rails can’t be added to onto. So I purchased an entire replacement. We’ve been using it for a year and the newer model has no end of problems. The alignment is so poor despite using all the attachments, the new wheeless sliders just have too much friction. The older model we have up is still going strong but the newer one is starting to fall out of the ceiling because of all the additional pulling to make it work. 2
Pointless for actual cornersClintonI have to windows that intersect at a right angle to each other and thought this corner bracket would be a great way to have a set of curtains be able to run neatly across the whole span and be tucked to one side when done. The gliders you insert into the rails bind up making the corner on this pieces and I have to either climb a ladder or pop them out of their jammed state with a pole. What a waste of time, money, and headache now that I have to repair the cieling when I take these down.1
Looks good but not functional in practiceTiagoIf you try to connect 2 Vidga rails you will find that curtains won’t run smoothly when crossing their seams and just get stuck there. This corner thing seems to get this same problem but amplified to 2 close seams in a short space. It’s disappointing. I wish they had better instructions on how to avoid this problem at all or that rails had Lego-like connecting sections so seams would not get curtains stuck on them. Now, does it look good? It does. It’s an annoyance you can ignore? As long as you don’t move your curtains a lot, yes.1

Designer thoughts

Designer thoughts

"When mounting curtain rails myself, I’ve often thought about how it could be made simpler. So when I got the chance to create VIDGA curtain rail system, I knew what I wanted to do. The new system needed to look good, and be as easy to understand as to mount with just a few tools. And I am very pleased with the outcome! I’m sure you’ll like the end result, when all your curtains or panel curtains are in place."
