submerge nozzle and activate pump to correct malfunctionEvaI purchased this product. I too had only air when depressing the handle. I submerged the entire bottle and depressed the spray handle until water came through with no air. I pumped it at least 20 times.
Clearly it had been air locked.
Now that it is functioning, there is a fine spray produced rather than a fine mist. a very nice looking spray bottle!

It does work, first time use required MANY MANY pumpsEvaIt's aesthetically pleasing. Like many other buyers, I thought the mister was a dud and couldn't get it to work. But as I got more frustrated and kept pumping..... the water finally came out.
Since then, no complain at all. It's a good grab and go for me to water my succulants.

I thought it needed priming and if you soak the top plunger area, it will eventually spray a few times then stop working after a few pumps. Based on other reviews, this is junk.

Looks cute, but leaks bad!MelonieBought to match the watering can, filled it up and it doesn't spray a fine mist at all. No matter how open or closed the valve is, it does more of a splatter and drips out the bottom. Will be returning.
