Very sturdyOliviaThey're solid metal plates with screw holes in them. They're not flimsy despite being intended for nothing more than making cabinet doors open together. I'm using them in an unintended way to support the inner corner of a desk which I assembled in an L-shape so that I could avoid having a leg in a place where it would get in my way. Two of them are attached to the bottoms of the tabletops to hold them together and they don't give out under load. They work well enough that I was able to avoid buying a leg for the spot where two corners of the tabletops touch. I don't recommend using them this way, but the problem with it isn't because of the connecting hardware. They're more than good enough for their intended use.5
