Replacing old cabinet lightsNigelI decided to replace five older version cabinet lights (these were the old chrome models). The major difference is that these lights have a smaller base, small diameter electrical cords. More importantly you can daisy chain the wiring and for me I connected one unit to the power supply and then connected the rest by plugging into each other on a chain. This saves having to run everything back to the power supply. Good product and with the correct power supply these can be connected to a smart wi fi device such as Google home.
Stylish adjustable and dimmable bookcase lightsChrisWe bought a couple of these to go with Idanas bookcases. You do have to buy a driver to operate these lights, but I was happy to find out that Ikea uses the Zigbee protocol on their wireless drivers, which meant it integrated seamlessly with my existing Philips Hue system. I didn't have to get anything beyond the driver and the accompanying power cable. My only complaint is the included adhesive mounting strips weren't strong enough to hold the lights. I had to use some stronger adhesive mounting strips. I could have just screwed the mounting brackets into the shelf with the provided screws but I didn't want to put any holes in the top of the bookcases.
