Product details

Children need space in their room to play and do homework – and sleep, of course. With a loft bed you can solve all of this in an area of just 2 m2.

You can use the space under the bed for storage, a workspace or seating.

A good solution where space is limited.

It’s easier to get in and out of the bed with a centered ladder.

Put together myself StephanieI put this together myself as a 5'2" woman, no big issues. The last part though, having to put the bed on its side to attach the support for the mattress should be included in the beginning. If my room was smaller that would have been impossible. I'm enjoying the extra space.5
easy peasyJasminThis was an easy bed to put together - just have a 2nd person to help. 5
Great bedRawnaFairly easy to build, but you definitely need 2 people. Sturdier than I expected. My 10 yr old loves it! 5
Absolutely do not buy thisJackWhat an absolute nightmare of a bed. I've never experienced so much frustration putting something together. I would give this 0 stars if I could.1
Nice loft bed frame for limited space BotagozIt is what we expected for affordable price. It saved us a lot of space as we use underneath room for a desk, chair and toys. Assembling was a bit complicated and hardware (the screws) is not easy to manage. 4
Great valueCoryMy 8 year old loves it. He helped me put it together and took us a couple hours. Not sure what everyone is saying about it being difficult to assemble it was really easy. Seems sturdy and looks good. Good value for dollar. Didn’t like I had to buy a smaller mattress because the one we had was too tall. Would be nice to have some kind of rail attachment to make the side higher so a new mattress didn’t need to be purchased. 4
An AWFUL build. AmandaI bought this bed for my son, and building it has been an absolute nightmare. The instructions aren't super clear- which I knew about from other reviews- but the biggest issue is the bolt screw system that you have to use when joining the parts. Even while you don't tighten them the entire way, it's still impossible to get the entire bolt out if you make mistakes- which is easy to do since not all of the pieces are easy to identify. One of the items also didn't have the hole drilled large enough, so I am waiting on a new part for that- but I also truly don't know how I will even be able to take it apart when I move. And - I wouldn't be able to return it, BECAUSE I CANNOT TAKE IT APART. It's a nightmare of a bed, and I would absolutely NOT purchase it because it's impossible to disassemble.1
Great product daughter likes it.DeniseVery easy to assemble would recommend this product gives more space in the bedroom!5
Good EnoughAnonymous reviewerIt wasn't the easiest to put together, but I managed by myself. But is has now been a few months and the bed is very squeaky. And the ladder lifts off the ground, not sure why. 3

Terrible Assembly NEVER BUYChuaThe final few steps require fishing steel rods through tight netting while simultaneously screwing bolts in at extremely limited angles. Even with multiple people helping, the space is so limited it doesn’t matter. They could’ve designed this netting much smarter so that it doesn’t rely on extremely precise screw locations. For this price it’s such a dissatisfying product. The screws also tend to fall into the hallow space of the steel poles. When all set up, it requires a slim mattress so it’s unlikely you can reuse an existing one. Its look is also pretty mediocre kids product. Honestly not worth the money and would’ve loved to just return it and spend on a well designed one.1
great bed for small spacesLaura-Deemy daughter absolutely loves this bed she now has a sitting area in her room to read , relax and enjoy her favorite shows.5
Hard to assemble joists. TrevorThe outer frame itself went together wonderfully. The big issue is getting the joists that you put the bed onto. First, It was very difficult getting the last joist piece into the mesh. Fought with that for about an hour. The hardest part is definitely screwing the joists to the outer frame. I got half the screws in and the other half of the screw don't line up. It takes a lot of praying to get them into place, which is hard considering there is nothing to hold onto. And even when you line up the holes, sometimes the screws just don't want to screw in. They thread once then pop out. 3
Solid bed, Rails are bit shortCassandraDefinitely a good price and the quality is pretty good. The only concern I have is how high the side panels are. They are a bit short when you put an average height mattress but I added some noodles to help extend them. A manageable issue.4
Good bed for Good priceMonikaGood bed for Good price5
Awful to BuildPhoenixConfusing instructions with multiple steps missing. Had to go backwards several times because the instructions were so unclear. It has been four hours. We are still unbuilding and rebuilding.1
UggggghJamieWhat a pain in the butt to put together!3
My back hurts with 10 cm thick mattressShihoI purchased it in August 2022, the bed slept well though it shakes a bit but I have had similar experience with my bunk beds before so that was okay. But coming into 2023, sometimes I wake up feeling the bottom of my spine sores. I feel like I am directly sleeping on one of the bars which hurts. This may not happen to kids but as a normal sized adult female for some reason this is happening. If you are renting and wish to save up spaces in your room maybe find a bunk bed that as fully covered support with the bed plank. Also, like other comments, the bed was really difficult to assemble.2
The bed of pure frustrationMichaelWhile the bed seems like it will be sturdy once assembled, we may never find out. The assembly process is extremely difficult. The instructions are insufficiently clear. It is so wildly difficult in part because lining things up is a major challenge. As a bonus it gets harder as you get futher into the assembly process. Then should you make a mistake, (AND YOU WILL), the two part bolts will separate when you try to remove them to correct the problem. This takes correcting your mistakes to new heights of frustration. In short if your life has become too easy, if you feel like you have become to calm, buy this bed and try to assemble it. That will quickly correct both problems.1

TUFFING Loft bed frame, dark gray, Twin

A bed for new perspectives

Life is pretty good here at the top of the bed. Teasing younger siblings can be kept at a distance, and when mum or dad says good night, the height is just perfect for a hug. Both bunk beds and loft beds are good choices when you want to create more space in a smaller area. With TUFFING, we also managed to make more bed from less material.

We made TUFFING bunk bed and loft bed of stable steel and mesh fabric, and somewhat lower than other bunk beds. It means less use of material and that each bed weighs less to transport.

Kids don’t think about safety, so we do

By centering the ladder, the loft bed became more stable. The ladder also serves as a guard rail for the bunk bed – because children’s beds should be safe places, no matter if you are in the middle of play or deep in the world of dreams. That is why our children’s beds undergo rigorous furniture tests. The industry’s safety standards are very strict, but we take it further. When working with TUFFING, we focused especially on avoiding gaps and openings where small hands and feet can easily get stuck. When we had a model of the bed, it underwent two weeks of intense fatigue tests where the bed frame was continuously exposed to strong forces.

A place for kids to recharge

Throughout the design process we took part in research results from Dr Barbie Clarke, a child psychologist with many years of experience in research about children and their development. She explains the role of the bed: “When we do global research, the children we interview often say that their bed is their favourite part of the home. It is something they can call their own; ‘This is mine, my space’. Even if they share a lot of other things, the bed is often a private area that helps them work out who they are, rest and recharge.”

Material

What is steel?

Steel has unique characteristics when it is stretched and shaped since it remains strong. It provides strength to everything from skyscrapers and cars to bed frames and outdoor furniture. The steel industry is moving in the direction of more energy-efficient production and stronger steel qualities. It doesn’t lose any of its properties when recycled and today steel is one of the most recycled materials in the world.
