It doesn’t feel sturdy at all, despite being so heavySuzyI bought this for my room, to store
miscellaneous items in. It was heavy to work with when constructing it, so I was positive the final product wouldn’t feel flimsy. Sadly, it ended up feeling quite flimsy and wobbly in use. This must be why IKEA provides anchoring parts with this cabinet. I only recommend buying this product if you plan on anchoring it to the wall. But even then, the unit may shake and wobble when removing bins.
The bins slide out okay. Not the best or easiest in the world. I believe each bin holds a maximum of 7kg, which is impressive. But in reality the bins feel flimsy even holding just 5lb. I keep some scrapbooking supplies in the upper bins and even that feels like too much for the bins sometimes.
I do regret buying this product. I wish I went for a different IKEA product instead.
