Difficult to put together.DonnaI read other reviews saying this cabinet was difficult to put together but I thought how hard could it be since I've put many ikea products together. Usually, with ikea, as long as you follow the instructions their products are easy to assemble. This by far was the most frustrating! I would not recommend this particular trofast. If you do plan for atleast 2-3 hours and a lot of frustration. I love Ikea products but....this product makes me question if IKEA's quality control is going down since there was a lot of poor workmanship with the predrilled holes and things lining up. It is nice now that it is set up, but I do worry long term if it will be solid since some of the holes were not centered and the wood cracked slightly.2
AwfulJessicaI regret buying these so much. The bins are too small for the slots and are constantly falling out. The open bins get so dusty. The mdf ones with the plastic runners are a slight improvement. Although they still fall out. Wish there were more me heat I’ve reviews before I purchased as I would have chosen something else. 1
Same name different productLeandroThe pine stained version of this product features grooves as guides for the bins to slide in and out of and as a result the bins do not stay in place. The grey and white have actual tracks which make it impossible for the bins to fall out. This particular difference should have been pointed out as it misleads the buyer to think that it is the same product but in different colours. This is typical ikea sneakiness. They make a product and realize that it doesn’t perform very well then they improve it, change the colour and call it “new” while still selling the old model and wasting people’s time. 2
Chubby shlefing DaviOne of the best products my family has come by. I love how it was created to insert bins to hold other items as well having flat surfaces to add books and other supplies. 5
Poorly madePhilThe unit had miss drilled holes and was warped. Needed a mallet to force warped pieces into place. Had to redrill two holes for screws. Doubled or tripled assembly time. Without tools would have been impossible

Design flawJessicaI bought 6 of these for my boy's bedrooms. I prefer the solid wood to the white mdf in theory; however, the wood ones are flawed and don't function as well. The drawers are slightly too small for the runners and do not stay in. They are constantly falling out and look messy and ugly. I wish these came with the plastic runners that the white mdf ones come with. They keep the drawers in place. Very annoying. Don't buy!1
