Exactly what was neededKirstenIt sits at the foot of the guest room/craft room bed and is the perfect space to sort the needed materials for a variety of crafts. Easy to set up and fabulous to have.5
Poor qualityBinghouAfter spending 30-40 minutes on the assembly, just when I was about to finish, I discovered a long crack on the side panel. I’m extremely disappointed. The quality is poor.1
Don’t buy itJuliaDuring the Black Friday sale, I saw a few reviews saying the boards don’t align. I gave it the benefit of a doubt cause I know some people are not great with instructions. I also got it at half off so I was trilled to pick it up. When I was putting together the base, true enough the holes don’t match. The only way I could align the base and the side is if I remove 4 of the 6 wooden pegs. Now, when I put on the metal screws, only 2 of the 3 would fit. I have pictures to prove that even when the sides line up, the holes would never. The holes are clearly seen outside the panels. It’s such a waste of time. It’s like they put it on sale to get rid of bad inventory. >_< And now they are giving the hardest time to post this review. 1
Great for toy storage!NadineWe have 2 Trofast systems now in our son’s playroom. It’s a great way to store all his toys and still have them accessible to him when he plays.5
Pretty but not great qualityMaudeThis must be the worst furniture I bought from IKEA. I had to exchange the first one because some pieces were not square. The second one: same! So I found a way to make it works because I didn't want to buy a third one.
But in the end, it's cute and it serves its purpose. 3

These are awesome. Not just for kidsAmandaThese are great for all sorts of things if you have people who are visual and like to see where stuff is or need things to be easy to put away. We use these for camping stuff too. That way we can just take an entire box of stuff from storage and move it into the camper for the year easily and then back when we winterize. I am thinking about doing this for seasonal stuff like mittens/hats.5
PleasedBrigitteEasy to build, and a great storage solution for kids toys in the playroom. 5
Perfect for toy storageBrandyThis shelf is amazing for keeping toys somewhat organized. The bin sizes can be selected to meet individual needs (e.g. larger size for holding bigger items such as stuffies or jars, smaller bins for medium items like LOL dolls). We were surprised to find that the shelf held all of the contents formerly stored in a large plastic storage container (with some extra room!), but now the kids can actually find their toys. Bins slide in and out relatively easily so the kids have no problem accessing or putting away their toys.5
Trays slide beautifully. So easyFayTrays slide beautifully. So easy for our toddler to move collections of toys in and out.5

Works so well!JeanetteIf you are hesitating to buy, just do it! You won’t regret it.
Works perfectly for all types of toy storage…easily accessible for young and older children. Just perfect.5
Perfect playroomJessicaLove this item. Perfect for toy storage. My only concern is how soft the wood is and how much it gets marks in it.4
Not greatMargaretIt looks nice and is useful with versatility. However it was not easy to assemble as the screw holes were not aligned properly.3
Stacked 2 for a dresser and used another 2 side by side for a lego tableMarysiaThe wooden frame seems solid, I appreciated that the drawers are cut into the wood.5
Great but could be sturdierKassandraI love how it looks and that you can pull the "drawer" out rather than fiddling with those systems that have tubs balancing on bars on top of eachother. I wish that each opening had a small board bracing it so that the notches for sliding the bins would stay the right width apart, already on the 2nd day some bins were sliping out of the notch on one side and getting stuck. This thing is for toys so it should be tested to withstand the bins full of heavy hard toys or legos.4
Quality isn’t the bestLeahI bought these because they looked to be functional while also being aesthetically pleasing for my kids toy room. They’ve been so hard to find in stock so when they came back in stock in the spring I ordered two. Finally got around to putting together the toy room and these storage units. The first one was almost impossible to assemble but looks nice-top and sides look like a solid piece of pine and has a nice finish. The second one was easy to assemble but looks terrible—about 25 tiny pieces of pine very noticeably joined together (finger joint) on the top, bottom and sides of it. Looks like a child’s craft project PLUS there’s a crack along one of the “joints”. Overall not impressed at all.3
Exactly what we neededAmandaWe use this to store toys in our living room. It's perfect. It works as a seat too. The baby did get his arms stuck in the basket but he has since figure out how to not do that.5
It is a solid woodIuliiaIt is a solid wood storage. Not perfect for the storage that stands besides a wall as boxes hit the wall every time they are slide inside the storage. However, it looks good and works for toys storage.4
