When we developed TOLKNING, we worked with experienced artisans. The result is a decorative and multi-functional series of natural fibre products that carry warmth, a unique expression and lots of character.
Simi Gauba and Kristin Pfannenschmidt are two of our product developers who are based in Vietnam and work a lot with natural fibres. “When we created TOLKNING, we got help from skilled artisans who know the strengths and weaknesses of the material,” says Simi. “Without them, we wouldn’t be able to offer these products to our customers.”

Simi says that working with natural fibres can be challenging, but that is also a part of the charm. “The TOLKNING series reflects a heritage that is worth preserving – man and nature together and skills passed on from generation to generation. I started with my Scandinavian heritage and, in combination with the knowhow and professional skills of craftspeople, the unique products took shape – made by people and for people.
