the chair is great and serves its purpose the only thing wrong is that the sanding on the chair could have been done better. you can feel splinters when you rub on the chair so it definitely needs a cushion

Compact cost friendly chair, but not too comfyRandyThis chair is excellent value. Simple, and extremely flat when folded. It is not the most comfortable chair due to the flat slats, there is zero contour. For the seat you really do need to purchase a cushion, but that also means you have to remember to remove if there's rain if you leave the chairs outside. The back rest is not that comfortable so if you tend to lean back on chairs, it can get a bit sore if you sit too long. The chair also doesn't fold as you might think with the traditional scissor legs. The seat sort of flips upwards, and when the legs are fully spread, you have to make sure the little hook catch under the seat locks into the leg. Else if you sit down thinking the seat is locked, it will suddenly click in with a slight jolt.
