Initial setup was a bit tricky, but the sound is greatDamirI’m using two of these in a stereo pair. Unless you’re listening to radio, you’d probably want a pair. Like the title says, a bit difficult to set up initially, because the mobile app was rather terrible, losing connectivity to the speakers during the initial setup so I had to perform a factory reset. Eventually got them to work using ethernet and the desktop app from the Sonos website. After that, the mobile app also started working correctly. All in all, they deliver very decent quality audio, probably among the best at this price point.4

Trouble playing music?PaulIf you are having connection issue, it is because your wifi network is 5ghz. Switch it to be 2.4 ghz, and this will work perfectly. ZERO stars to the instruction manual for not mentioning this!5
Sonos Needs to Fix the New App! (2024)Abigail5 stars with the old app, 1 star with the new app. Both my IKEA Symfonisk speakers and my Sonos speakers have been affected, so it's not IKEA's fault. Hopefully Sonos will fix this problem soon. As it stands now, I actually dread opening the app and seeing what the Problem of the Day is! e.g. Which speaker won't work this morning? Can I skip tracks today? Where are all my playlists? Why can't I find my Groups tonight? . . . I used to love Sonos, lately they're making me wish I'd never chosen to put so much money into such buggy tech.1

Latest app makes once great speaker uselessNigelThese used to be great. While not sounding quite as good as a "proper" Sonos they were a very long way there, especially if you used the TruePlay feature to calibrate a pair of them together.
Sadly the recent app update means that outside very limited uses it's not going to work anymore. For example, you can no longer search your local music collection or even edit the queue for what's coming next. It will show you ads for other Sonos products though.1
Sonos now requires internet connection and uploads all my listening info to their serversMarkI have few of these speakers. It used to work very well for couple years with a local network setup, but recently Sonos made a change where you need to use their account to use the speakers and speakers need to connect to internet. In addition I found out that all my speakers, all my playlists, bookmarks, listening history, everything is available on play.sonos.com which is very concerning as I dont consider my personal music to be needed published to their wen servers. For what? I am returning all my Sonos speakers. 2

Worst system everKatherineThis is meant to have one speaker hardwired to a router. If not it will constantly drop or lose connection and you won't be able to see the speaker on your spotify etc. If you mean this as a wifi speaker don't waste your money. It shouldn't be advertising as this as one. Absolutely terrible speaker system. Save yourself the money and frustration.1
