Smaller than the old MalmMohamedTried to upgrade my old 4 dresser Malm for the 6 dresser version, only to discover that it’s replacement Storklinta shrunk!! Like legitimately the old dresser was 80cm wide, and this one is 70, for the same price! Talk about shrinkflation smh

Quality lacking JonathanWe were hoping to match our 15 year old Malm night stands with a dresser, but unfortunately missed the window when Malm products were still available. Our nightstands are so strong and great quality, so we were hopeful this storklinta replacement would have similar quality. However it quickly became apparent, as we assembled the drawers in particular, that quality was definitely lacking. So many plastic parts rather than metal, a few which snapped and broke when tightening, no spare parts even tucked into the package, and exterior finish definitely not as durable looking as the Malm. The hardware could certainly have been better organized to make it a faster easier process, as the assembly was more confusing than usual for us! The requirement to attach to the wall for it to be useable seemed perhaps unnecessary in our situation, making it less easy to move around, damaging the wall etc. We would not recommend this product without looking at other options first.

More storage than my old dresser.PaulaI purchased 2 of these as the external measurements gave the same square inches as my current dresser, just a slightly smaller footprint. After assembly I started to move everything over and realized one of these dressers provided the exact same storage as my old one! So glad i bought these! So I now have one dresser for in season clothing, and one for bedding and out of season clothing. (Yes I am old enough that I still rotate my clothing by season…)
I did find the paper instructions mildly frustrating, but was extremely delighted to discover a youtube channel devoted to assembly instructions for each line of furniture IKEA sells.

Drawers don't fully extendAnonymousThe dresser looks nice but there's one major drawback that isn't obvious from the product page: the drawers do not open fully. A significant portion of each drawer stays inside the cabinet, making it difficult to reach or get your clothes in and out of the drawer. This greatly reduces the usable storage space and makes everyday use frustrating. If full extension drawers are important to you, be aware that this model does not have them. I wish IKEA had made this much clearer in the product description.

Drawer # 3 from the bottom can’t go in MonikaBought this colour to try to match the other dresser. Also bought the green one which is much better than brown ( including the system ). Thinking to return the brown one.
Satisfactory dresserKevinThe dresser is overly difficult to assemble and very heavy, extremely heavy. The locking functions are a pain to deal. The dresser also had a lot of off-gassing and took almost a week for the smells to dissipate.
